Very nice, modern hotel with quirky theme around the Moon ( pictures, round windows etc) . Super quick check in and lovely room on the first floor with a garden view ( as requested) . Lovely friendly and chatty staff apart from the bartender on the first nice who we thought was a little miserable and lacking any kind of charisma/ friendliness. Other than that , all good . Breakfast a little different in that it is vegan / vegetarian, but ok with that . Nice pastries , good fruit selection and hot food tasty too ( even without bacon or sausages) . Fruit juices nice and blackcurrant juice was delicious and coffee good too. We had a good meal on our own in the restaurant on the first night and it didn’t disappoint. Tasty starter , delicious mains and gorgeous sweet too. It was nice that the evening chef ( a chap from Chile) popped out to see us to get an opinion from us regarding the food as he was trying some new ideas out ( all good 👍) . The only minus things are that the room wasn’t made up after the first night and we had to ask for clean fresh towels and that the only heating is air conditioning which we found to dry out our noses/ throats . Other than that , we would return to this same hotel as it was so nice and also convenient for public transport links ( bus, tram , train and underground train) .

Loved our stay at Mooons Vienna. Staff were friendly and welcoming and our room was amazing! Stunning views from the 9th floor and the huge windows made the room bright and airy. Lovely breakfast buffet too. The Hotel is about a 30 minute walk to the centre but it’s nice and flat with some lovely cafes and bars on the way. It’s right opposite the railway station so great links with the airport and the rest of the city. Would definitely return to Moons and Vienna.

Lovely hotel with great rooms. We stayed in a room with big windows and great views. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was really lovely. I would recommend.
Location is a bit far out but very connected to public transport. This worked perfectly for us as it's right next to the main train station. Lots of food and shop options near by.

The room is neat and tidy. The location is very convenient and there are post office and supermarket nearby and the train station is within walkable distance. The service was good and the breakfast was very crowded.

Big rooms, not muh noise in the night, really good shower, super hlpful staff, i dont think i could ask for more!
My only minor quibble is the habit of giving a traveller two single duvets on a king sized bed, id much prefer a single larger duvet

Checkin to incredibly long. Lonely worker in reception. The whole bar/restaurant was also only served by one guy as waitor/ bartender and one chef, while the restaurant was full. Felt sorry for them also. Breakfast average.
Consider to take regular trains to/from Hauptbahnhof rather then the green express to Mitte (Wien Central). It might save you time

Nice hotel stayed there for 4 nights for a leisure trip- situated slightly away from the city centre but still within walking distance.
We did not eat at the hotel, but took breakfast and dinner at some nearby cafes and restaurants.
Very small room for 2 people- if you travel with large suitcases- ask for a larger room.
The guy at the reception upon our arrival was friendly and helpful. Passing the reception morning and evening- non of the others looked up to say hello - not once.

Our stay at Mooons was lovely. The proximity to the train station was key between getting the public transportation downtown or the early morning train to our next stop. Additionally, the staff was wonderful answering all of our questions and was so thoughtful with their extra personal touches. The view from the window in the room was simply spectacular. Just staring out the window when we were back at the hotel was wonderful. We would definitely return again!!

The location was ideal when arriving from the main train station. The room was quiet and comfortable. I especially enjoyed sitting in the round window looking out over the street. The only thing missing in the room was a chair on which to hang clothes and sit. There was only a stool which isn’t very practical. The hotel staff keeps changing towels every day although not requested. This could easily be avoided. Reception staff were very kind and helpful.

We love the place being close to the train station. Though the walk to the city center is not easy, access to the subway line is easy. Monica from the front desk was very helpful to us that made our 4 day stay here very enjoyable. She is very professional on her work and will give you great advise on anything during our 4 day stay here. Definitely will stay here again if ever we stop by Vienna again.

The hotel is modern, new, and clean. It's only 4-minute walk from the central train station and easy access to good restaurants. The service was excellent during our stay. The staff at the front desk is especially friendly and helpful. The wi-fi is very fast. The breakfast included in our stay is high quality.

The location is handy for the Hbf and Belvedere though there isn’t much else around. However the quality of the hotel made up for that, and there are plenty of transport options close by to connect with the city.

Overall, Mooons was fine, but I likely wouldn't stay there again.
Pros:
*Proximity to Wien HBF train station (about a 5 minute walk).
*Recognizable building with an interesting theme.
Cons:
*Lack of attention to detail and potential hygiene issues. Staff member was noticeably sick while checking us in. Our room had eco bathroom products (which is great), but they were all low when we arrived, and the other toiletries (e.g., q-tip packs in our room were used). The bathroom lacked proper ventilation and smelled like mold. TV did not turn on.
*At checkout, we were almost charged for breakfast (17 euro per person) which we did not take.
