Charmant et assez spacieux appartement pour vous faire vivre une famille d'accueil dans le Royal Borough de Kensington et Chelsea, il est basé dans un bâtiment d'époque situé à une adresse prestigieuse dans une zone touristique entourée de tout, entre 3 stations de métro - l'emplacement ne pourrait profitez de Londres à son meilleur, il est très sûr, calme, relaxant et confortable pour une bonne nuit de sommeil promise, c’est une excellente alternative aux familles et aux amis qui souhaitent rester ensemble pour une expérience familiale. 2 chambres doubles, 2 salles de bains familiales de même taille, cuisine et un salon de bonne taille. Great spot from which to explore London. This apartment is a great value in a good location. It is clean, week kept place and comfortably housed our family of 5 for a week.
It does not have “high-end” finishes/furnishings, but at close to half the price of those that do, it’s a great value for those, like us, who are spending most of the time out and about in the city.
Ricky was a very responsive and helpful host when we needed.

My family of six were all very comfortable in this charming London flat. We found the location perfect- on a quintessential quiet column-lined British neighborhood, yet steps away from the bustling Tube station, shops and grocery stores. We ate several meals from the functional kitchen, at the spacious dining table. The flat was clean with plenty of room for our suitcases and hanging closet space. We appreciated the snacks after a long travel day. This was the perfect home base to see London. Highly recommend it! Just keep in mind that it is a quiet building, so be respectful to the neighbors 😀

The absolute best aspect of this apartment is the location - in the heart of south Kensington, minutes from a tube station, walkable to museums & restaurants. Ricky was a great host, very quick communication. The place was also incredibly clean and we appreciated some home-like amenities you don't always find in European apartments like a washer/dryer, full kitchen, and two bathrooms. We had 4 adults + 3 kids and by the end of the week, we felt a a little cramped - I would say this apartment is perfect for two couples or one family. Also note that it's located in a residential apartment building so there may be maintenance or other normal apartment things (maintenance had to come in while we were staying there to check a leak for example) so if you're looking for a more "hotel" stay, this is more homey and lived-in which was great for us with kids. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

The "by 26 Courtfield Gardens" title is misleading. This apartment isn't at 26... only after much rambling in an email was the real address disclosed. The owner spends way too much time and energy providing "don't do this, don't do that" rules for the customer. They're in the emails, in a (lame) binder in the apartment, and even written on the shower curtain! The apartment was supposed to have Futons - there were NONE! Instead, there were some twin mattresses leaning against walls.
In the kitchen, there were dishes with food stuck on them.
The place had ugly furnishings and nothing went together. The pieces in the place were old and beat up. The leather couch, which was a focal point in the photo on the VRBO website, was the only decent thing in the entire unit. Unfortunately, there was an ugly slip cover over it that didn't even fit.
This place was filled with a bunch of unwanted crap that you might see leftover after a garage sale has been held.
The mattresses were old and overused, with big dents where people had lain. The sheets were cheap, scratchy, with stains.
The bath towels were also well past their prime, thin and scratchy, certainly nothing I would offer guests, and past the point where they would become car washing towels.
In both bathrooms, the water in the shower pulsed hot and cold; it wasn't a constant temperature. And both sinks had separate hot and cold faucets, which meant choosing between scalding hot water, and frigid cold water.

This 2 BR 2 BA flat is in a very convenient location, close to supermarkets, restaurants, transportation, etc. We really liked that it had 2 bathrooms. The lounge can be set up as a 3rd place to sleep, and has a door that can be closed. There is a short flight of stairs into the building, and another short flight to the flat (lift does not go there). Host is very responsive. Flat was very clean, kitchen is set up with most everything you need, and includes a dishwasher. Washer/dryer is a combo unit. We would definitely stay here again!

Property was lovely and quiet in an excellent location near earls Court station. Great for our arrival from Heathrow and travelling to Kensington Gardens and harrods and Albert hall.
Lovely to have some unexpected kitchen supplies and brewed coffee with fresh milk. Maybe that was in the description but I was so relieved to just make a coffee after 30 hours travelling.

This met or exceeded our expectations. We found good places nearby to eat and to shop for groceries. With three runners in the family, we loved being so close to Hyde Park and Buckingham Palace.

My 72 yo mom and I stayed at Ricky’s flat. The location was great & we felt very safe. The flat is a 1st floor flat with just a few steps, which was perfect for us. As an American, we had no idea how to use the oven, but I looked up the make and model online and it was just fine :) Everything was clean and we had all the supplies we could need for the stay. The portable air conditioner was great because we stayed during a bit of a heatwave.
I would say this was a perfect location because the Earl’s court station was just a 5 minute walk away and the District and Piccadilly lines running from there got us everywhere we needed to go! A large Sainsbury’s grocery store was in one direction and Co-op and M&S Foodhall was near the tube station so we had quick easy options to grab anything we could need after long days of sightseeing.
All communication with Ricky before our stay was fantastic, he answered quickly and made sure our arrival was smooth. If we come back to London, I would definitely stay here again!

This is a lovely apartment in a nice neighborhood and close to public transportation and local restaurants. It is an easy walk to Kensington gardens and Royal Albert Hall. Ricky responded quickly when we could not locate keys in the designated location. Seems the cleaner did not leave them in promised spot. Once we found a phone number for Ricky, response came quickly and we were able to get into apt. The fridge was stocked with s number of beverages which was nice. Overall it was a pleasant stay as we toured London area.

This was a perfect place for our excursions in London for the week. My elderly mother found the flat very accessible and the proximity to the tube was such a plus! Will definitely stay here again on our next trip.

Amazing location. Property was exactly as described. Easy to follow directions. You could definitely tell it was somebody’s home. For me it felt a little too lived in, but it’s entirely a personal preference. comfortable and had all the amenities we needed.

What a lovely place to call home base in London. First, the flat is clean, spacious, quiet and great for families. The beds are very comfortable and having two bathrooms is excellent. The kitchen has everything you would need, including a washer/dryer. There are a couple of adaptors and lamps with USB for charging devices.
The location is great. Very short walk to Earls Court underground which quickly gets you to Notting Hill, museums, and Victoria station for theater or bus tours.
It's an easy to walk to grocery stores, Kensington/High Street, and the Earls Court area - all of which have good selection of restaurants, pubs, shopping. We enjoyed meals at Cleopatra, Dishoom, a couple of the local pubs, and The Muffin Man for a casual British 3-tier tea.
Ricky was easy to communicate with, responded quickly, and we felt very welcomed when we found that he left us a huge platter of fruit and a selection of beverages. :)
I highly recommend staying here and would definitely stay here again!

Amazing location - steps from the Tube so access to all the main attractions. The Earl’s Court station also has a lift (most do not) which is great for families. The apartment was great and comfortable for our family - 2 adults, 1 toddler and infant. Thank you Ricky for amazing communication!

Ricky is a very conscientous host, the check-in was straightforward and he responded quickly to our messages. The location is fantastic with Earl's Court station at the end of the street.
The apartment is quiet, clean and comfortable, just a few steps up from the building entry. It is clearly a lived-in home but the owners could be a little more relaxed about protecting their rugs and furniture.

Very comfortable, slept very well. Location brilliant with an Mand S, Greggs, Boots, several small food shops. Thought the Kings Head pub was the best. Tube station short walk. Would definitely recommend, thank you for our stay.

This property is well situated in Kensington/Earls Court close to the Cromwell Road. It is very quiet which is a bonus. The host was a superb communicator and left us a huge plate of fruit and masses of coffee and tea which was much appreciated. Lots of information about the surroundings as well. We managed to squeeze five of us into the flat with no problem.

This was my first time ever using a vacation rental and I am now a convert! Ricky and Guistina made the process easy and we’re extremely accommodating. They were honest in their description of the property. We also met some

The Flat
This spacious two bedroom , two bath flat in the elegant Gloucester Road area of Chelsea is perfectly located. All the amenities are available (Cable TV/Netflix). Lovely kitchen with basic provisions (I.e. tea/coffee/squash). Everything we needed to get settled in was there! The dining table seats 6 persons.
The sofa was quite comfy as well! We all know that’s what makes home truly home!
The heart of the city
It’s 5 minutes from Earls Court Road, about 10 minutes walking distance from Gloucester Road (the tube station). It’s also walking distance from Kensington Gardens! It’s is at the heart of London luxury. Loved the restaurants! I was able to go to either Sainsbury’s, Tesco or Waitrose for groceries. Boots the chemist is also nearby.
It was easy to find the property and it is about 35 minutes from Heathrow which is quite convenient.
I rate this property 5 stars. I would definitely stay here again!

Very comfortable, roomy, clean and quiet flat. It was perfect for our stay in London with our two teens. Very close and convenient metro stop. A short walk to the grocery to pick up items for breakfast. Quiet and perfect spot for resting up for another day of London touring. Ricky communicated quickly and effectively. We had originally planned to come in May 2020 but due to the pandemic we were delayed. I greatly appreciate him honoring our rescheduled travel. I highly recommend this VRBO choice!

We were grandparents and teenage boys on their first trip to London.
The apartment was really convenient for the museums first thing and then for getting around rest of London. Useful to have supermarket so close. The apartment is spacious and comfortable with everything that you could need. Check-in instructions were very clear and Ricky contacted us to make sure everything ok. I’d stay here again.

The apartment had such an amazing location, 15 minutes walk to South Kensington, museums etc. 10 minutes walk to Kensington shops and restaurants. 5 minutes to Earls Court Tube.
The apartment was bigger than we expected! Beds were so comfy, and 2 bathrooms was very useful.
Great communication prior, during and after our stay. Check in and out was so smooth. The fruit provided was great for snacks in the morning.
