It is the second time.i have booked to stay. This time brought my dog and stayed an.extra day longer. Customer service is good. Feel the room.booked was good value for money. Hotel asscessable to cannel, Chester ans main attration. Chester Zoo

had an amazing spa break , will definitely be staying again. had food and drink at the bar and was all delicious

Rooms were fine. Bar was extortionately priced. Shower wasn’t hot enough

Great location for Park & Ride into Chester and super helpful staff. Although clean and tidy, the rooms are close to needing a refresh. Apart from that it was just what we needed at an excellent room rate

Awesome staff, good buffet breakfast, large room. No soundproof in my room so could hear alsolutely everything in room next to me. Bar ran out of many alcohols. The access to the pool, spa and gym was nice.

The hotel looked a bit run down and in need of refurbishment. The service in the restaurant and bar food area was terrible. I ate at the hotel three times during my stay purely for convenience. The first night i ate in the bar food area and ordered dessert at the same time as my main. My main came out within 5 minutes so was obviously reheated. I then waited 20 minutes after my main was collected and no dessert appeared. When I went to the bar to check where it was they realised that they had forgotten to send the order to the kitchen. On the 2nd and 3rd nights I didnt even get to the stage of being able to order a dessert as I was waiting 20 minutes after i finished my main for somebody to come and clear my plateand take my dessert order. I gave up at this stage and had to go to the till to make payment. Not very impressive!

Really lovely weekend. Jacuzzi and pool just what we needed. Loved the fact you could stream from your phone to watch what you wanted. Bed was massive as well

I had an excellent stay. The facilties were excellent and staff polite and professional.

Overall the hotel is functionally good and clean but some of the decor is dated and a few cracked tiles etc. Food is average and expensive with the 10% service charge added even to drinks ordered at bar (incidentally I don't like this prices were high enough compared to other hotels to include enough to pay staff adequately and any tips should be under the control of customers for good service). The pool area again was good but busy at times with lessons etc and comes with jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. Again a little dated/in need of maintenance compared with other hotels but functionally perfectly ok. Next to park and ride which is good for visiting the city. Could have been a 5 with a few changes but gave it a 4 as we did still really enjoy our stay.

Very clean and lovely inside, welcome message on the room tv titled me as a Mr and not Miss. only downside was bed wasn’t too comfy but apart from that the stay was good. Staff were friendly

Rooms need and update and USB sockets repaired, all broken.

Ideal place to rest your head, staff were really friendly. Pool area was dated.

The hotel was beautiful and was very clean throughout. Room was spacious and very clean. Only downfall was the pillows were quite worn, so could do with upgrading. The staff were really friendly and helpful. A very pleasant stay. Will definitely be returning

The only thing that let the stay down was the maintenance team working on the emergency stairs outside before 9am which woke me up. Otherwise I would consider returning to the hotel as the location is not too bad. Ample parking and bus stop outside the grounds.

Clean rooms, friendly, helpful staff, excellent breakfast, short taxi ride to the racecourse.

The pool was great and i cant say hoq amazing all the staff were. Really kind and had loads of time for my son and his excitement about going to chester zoo . Food and drinks in the bar were alao reasonable and not the usual stupid hotel prices FIVE STARS

Business stay for 1 night only. The room and hotel areas was freezing cold. Otherwise a good quality stay for the money paid incl breakfast The bes was super comfortable so the pillows which is the most important to me Location a bit far from city centre but for my event was perfect

Excellent facilities and flexible check-in time

Sorry but what a waste of money. The allocated room had a toilet that didn't flush so the lady on reception moved us to an alternative room but that one had a bed that squeaked like mad and the bathroom had a door which you couldn't close! Furthermore, there was no hot water when I tried to have an evening bath nor a morning shower. The reception staff were all lovely, polite and helpful so it wasn't fair to complain to them as the maintenance of the rooms is hardly their remit nor personal fault. So we just checked out and were gone from the place first thing in the morning. Breakfast was nice but I'm sorry I would not recommend this hotel.

The hotel feels very spacious and the rooms have everything you need.The receptionists were very helpful.Particulary a gentleman receptionist on 30.8.24 in the evening.We had arrived late and went out for a takeaway and wanted to asked for more tea bags but he was talking to a guest.He had overheard me talking and interupted his conversation to give me tea bags and milk.I was very impressed at his attentiveness.The bar was busy and buzzing to which provided a nice atmosphere.We also liked the gorgeous colourful pictures too.Parking is fine and its just off the motorway. I would definately recommend a stay here.

The room was ok but the cleaning staff had not emptied the bin in the room which was full of food and disposable vapes. The hand towel had a very dubious stain on it. The walls are paper thin so you here everything, and I mean everything from the guests in the next room

Not convinced the room I paid for was the room given. In the room description it said it had a seperate seating area etc which it didn’t. Booked a double room but was two single beds pushed together not double. Shower pressure was very very low. Breakfast was very good though!

Business trip . Room was spacious but bathroom could do some tlc. Nice park and ride transport into city nearby.
