I stayed at this hotel in Oaxaca because the one in Chiapas is very nice and clean, this one in Oaxaca was super old, most of their employees are rude and super super unfriendly, they should be courteous to everyone due to the fact that they all live from us, the tourist.
The swimming pool was covered all the time and in order to use it, we have to let them know so they can uncovered, smh.
The buffet was very small, limited food, the waiters were sort of rude, I asked two of them to please not spray the cleaning liquid too broad because it was getting all over the food, I was completely ignored.
I do not recommend this hotel, and I would never come back unless the owners remodel the property and they make a better selection when hiring people.

The staff at the front desk any at the restaurant were amazing! Very kind and attentive. They responded quickly to all my requests. The room was very clean and perfect size

Overall, the staff was great and very friendly. On our last night, our flight was at night and they securely stored our luggage while we walked around for the day until it was time to head to the airport. There was an error in the type of vehicle to the airport because I had asked the night before to reserve a van that would fit a family of 6, but they were able to obtain 2 taxis fairly quickly for the same price we would’ve paid for the van. I’ve stayed at this hotel before and would definitely stay here again.

We stayed for a week at this property and would go again. The property was clean and very convenient to walk to historic downtown and restaurants. We loved the area and the staff were helpful, courteous and responsive. The elevator was out of service for a time while we were there but they fixed it quickly.

The customer service was great, from check in crew, quick, easy to change our room from a double to king bed.bed was comfortable, Ac even if looked old worked great. Pool was nice and warm.

I want to especially say that a you g lady in the breakfast area was wonderful, she always seem to have a smile even if she had a face mask, her tone and helpfulness. Breakfast was very good, flavorful and options.
I would have given the hotel a 5 star but the towels were very worn and yellowish, there was no mini fridge and lastly wish they would have had some usb connections as most hotels do.

The Lady at the counter was friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and quiet. The room was spacious with 2 queen size beds, a balcony, an independent sitting area plus a private patio with a sitting area too. The taxis are park outside of the hotel . We walked to the zocalo back and forth to have dinner. They offer only breakfast at the dinner. We arrived early from the airport and the lady was kind enough to let us to check in early without extra charge . Also we were allowed to check out until 13:30 from the hotel as a member of the IHG hotels. I would recommend this hotel to my family.

The front desk staff were amazing. From helping to change TV audio to English to funding a doctor to look at what turned out to be a spider bite. The cleaning and breakfast staff were also excellent. All said I'd highly recommend the hotel for visitors to Oaxaca.

The hotel is about a 10 minute walk to the downtown zocalo. It's very quiet and clean. We didn't use the pool, but there is one on site. The breakfast is generous and is served 7:00-10:30AM. You can choose from a breakfast buffet that has scrambled eggs, chilaquiles, refried beans, bacon or sausage. There is also fresh fruit. We had papaya, watermelon, bananas and cantaloupe. The buffet also includes cereal and sweet bread and bread and a toaster.
There are not very many dining options close to the hotel.
