Always a great stay at a Hampton. This time the staff were very courteous and helpful. Comp breakfast was fresh with a lot of options.

I has purchased some baked good put them in a bag put the bag on the floor next morning it was fill of ants .

This is by far one of the worst experiences we had at a hotel. The rooms smelt disgusting, the updates look like they just added new wall paper but kept the same dingy carpet, beds and furniture. The mattress was super uncomfortable and it smelt like a smokers room. They charged a $75 nom refundable pet fee. They charged $20 for parking which was not mentioned anywhere!! They said they wld give $10 back after your day but regardless this place is in a sketchy location, the rooms are gross, elevators don’t work properly. I wld not stay here again. The staff was very rude. My mom stayed at Tru down the block and had a completely different experience and the hotel was extremely nice compared to ours.

My wife and I had been staying at the Holiday inn resort on the beach, but decided to stay an extra night so we booked a room here because where we were staying did not have any vacancy for that night. This place Started with unfriendly front counter worker and continued with a terrible room. Bed and pillows were cheap. The bed was the cheap spring mattress that if you got too close to edge you fell off, so you spent the night trying to stay on the bed. Very uncomfortable mattress that you woke up hurting the next morning. The Pillows were the kind you found at Walmart in the dollar bin. The toilet paper was half ply if that. There was no water pressure in the shower and it just trickled. The tv kept losing signal and you only caught a portion of whatever program you were watching. There were some kind of small bugs crawling on the dresser. The floor had not been vacuumed and we found a hair tie on it from whomever was there before us. It just felt dirty and unsafe. Will not stay here again

Well the hotel was okay and I didn't have an ocean view it was facing Walmart supermarket. The couch the sofa couch was a little dirty looking, but overal it was all right. Will I come there again maybe for the breakfast because it alright. 😋

Everything was nice. Room was clean a/c worked excellent. The only issue I would say we had was at the departure the whole parking lot was flooded it would be great if the drainage system was better so hopefully that will change soon.

Very clean, very comfortable. Not directly on the beach but it only took a couple min to walk there. Plenty of restaurant options very close by. To me, hotel breakfast isn’t usually good but this breakfast did not disappoint at all. If I go back to Galveston I’m likely to book this hotel again.

The hotel staff was nice, but it just didn’t seem clean & our balcony door lock was broken. If you’re wanting to swim in the pool be prepared because it is freezing due to not getting enough sun in the afternoon. Breakfast was decent, but I’ve had much better. In my opinion the price was a bit high considering all these facts. I would not stay here again. Room was $300 .

Only thing is that they don’t clean rooms everyday. Trash cans are very small. Have to throw your garbage yourself or need a bigger trash bag. Minor thing.

Like the new remodels being coming here for years know staying in this hotel so I think furniture is very well used would look nicer that when they remodel they would of bought new furniture for rooms specially in the king size rooms with view the couch is so worn out for sleeping.

The stay was fine. I enjoyed it it. It was one night. The breakfast was excellent. The staff with the cafeteria was excellent. The front desk gentleman I don’t know if he was a manager or not but no conversation yes or no answer and straight forward no conversation, not in the mood to talk.

What are you talking about? why am I getting this email when my reservation was canceled with no notification prior to me arriving to hotel??
We arrived to this hotel, the front desk person told me to my face that my reservation was cancelled and they had no room for us. This hotel did not notify me and Expedia did not notify me that our reservation was canceled prior to me arriving to the hotel. Front desk lady also told me Expedia would refund my money, not Hampton Inn.
I feel like I should be getting an apology from Expedia and Hampton Inn for this issue.
You can forward this email to the higher powers that be, like your leadership and let them know I will NEVER use Expedia again for my travel plans and I will NEVER book at Hampton Inn. I will be sure to share my unfortunate experience with everyone I know.

We booked and prepaid our reservation. We got to the hotel and stafd was rude. Not only were they out of power but did not notify us or gave us refund! I disputed this with Expedia and they said that hotel manager refused to refund even though THE HOTEL was the one who canceled due to no power! Dont bother staying here! Rude and unprofessional.

Old and smelly. Looked nothing like the photos. Left the very next morning and only stayed the night because we arrived at midnight. They have ventilation fans on every floor because of the mold smell.. just felt gross waking up in that hotel can’t believe they are affiliated with Hilton honors

The room was nice and quiet. It was perfect for an overnight stay. The bed was really comfortable. The only complaint was the shower had ants.

I think it’s a really good and convenient hotel. Especially is directly across from Walmart so u can walk or drive right across the street to get things u may need or forgot at home. The breakfast is simple and nice. In a roomy area not cramped up. The rooms are spacious. Oh and it’s a 2 min walk to the Seawall so you’re right there around everything. Only thing I’ll complain about is the air in the building but it’s understandable because they are under construction with some things

Good quality, very clean and friendly staff. Just wish this pet policy was easier to find on website. Didn’t know it would be a 75 dollar fee for pets until I checked in.

This hotel was across the street from the beach. Room was clean as well as the entire property. Breakfast was good. Staff was friendly and informative. I just wish there was better airflow in the room. The ac vent was on this little part of a wall that faced the door. So only half the room was cooled. You could definitely tell the difference from one side to the next. But overall it was a good stay.

Upon check in everything looks great. No luggage carts around for help carrying bags. Decided to go to the pool for a minute. There was some very disrespectful guest. Police were called. Went to hospital when we came back they were still enjoying the pool. The police had already informed the hotel about the situation yet nothing was said or done to them. The sofa sleeper was dirty like the didn’t clean under it , sugar ants around the coffee maker. No extra pillows or blankets for sofa sleeper. I really expected more from a Hilton hotel
