Clean, comfy, well equipped and spacious, in a brilliant location for visiting Chester and the zoo. Local shops and pub very close by. Friendly helpful host.

Hosts were friendly and helpful. The cottage was very private, not visible to the public at all, it was very clean, well equipped, nicely decorated and very cozy. Location was ideal for easy access for supermarket/shops and zoo.

Location was great, the owner was very helpful and responded quickly, making life very easy. Bungalow was very well presented and spotless. Will definitely use again when we head back to Chester.

We loved every minute of our stay at Fir Tree Cottage. We couldn't find fault with anything. Jonathan and Nicky went to such a lot of effort to make our Christmas stay memorable. The Cottage is ideally situated within a short walk to shops.

I liked everything about this cottage . It was well situated for chester centre and right next to the zoo . I loved that they had huge bath towels rather than skimpy ones that only fit a supermodel 🤣

The property had everything you could want and was cosy and decorated for Christmas. It was well furnished and the host was lovely despite our transport delays. Within easy walking distance of the zoo and local shops it was a great basecamp for the weekend.

Fir Tree Cottage has everything you will need. Perfectly positioned for a short drive or bus to the Zoo and Chester Centre.

Very clean and self contained - everything you need. Location good for seeing the town of Chester. The zoo is in walking distance and the park and ride too.
Owners very helpful and the welcome gift a nice touch.

Lovely owners and the proeprty itself is perfect for a small family or group of friends visiting the zoo.

Large two bed cottage, plenty of space for the 2 kids and 2 adults. Equipped to a high standard. Great Outside space and cosy living room
The double bedroom would benefit from double glazing. The road noise is too noticeable

An excellent place to stay for Chester and the Chester Zoo. The host was very friendly and helpful. The property was well appointed and exceptionally clean. Good find. Recommend it if you’re visiting Chester and especially the zoo.
