Best visit to the beach I have had

Great accommodation for people with pets.

The ambiance was as serene as can be. Sole purpose for this trip was to relax and that is exactly what I was able to do. Very convenient to the beach, boardwalk, shops and restaurants. Felt extremely clean and staff was professional and pleasant!

Very nice place. So clean. Staff was wonderful. Was only blocks away from boardwalk . Definite will revisit

Our stay was amazing everything about this place is beautiful my entire family loved the vacation we will never stay anywhere else when we vacation at Virginia Beach..

The balcony sliding door in our room was malfuctioning. It would not lock and was easy to open. I had two small children with me and I was uncomfortable with the condition of the door. I called the front desk and asked if someone could fix it or if we could change rooms. The attendant did not sound too concerned but stated he would send someone to look at it. A long time passed so I called again there was no answer at the desk. In the end no one came. Since it was late my husband suggested I lock the bedroom doors and keep the kids in there. I do not understand why this would not be an immediate response. It is incredibly dangerous to have an unsecure door in any room let alone the 7th floor. I was very disappointed with the lack of concern and I have to wonder if the hotel inspects their rooms. It appears they would have only been interested if someone's child fell off the balcony. I payed almost $600 for one night and we did not get our money worth. But not feeling safe in your own room was the worst of it all. If there had been time to find somewhere else I would have but we had a funeral to attend to in the morning. I will avoid Embassy next time.

It was a great 24hour getaway. The room was oceanfront, clean and comfortable. So much on site, I didn’t have to leave at all. All the food and drinks were good. Staff friendly and accommodating.

My room (room 984) wasn't cleaned. After I reported to the front desk, I was told that they knocked my door since I didn't repond, they didn't clean it. I DIDN'T display the sign because I needed the roto be cleaned. A lady who was cleaning the room just nest next to mine (room 982) saw me leaving my room. I hope this hotel doesn't make the decision on which rooms to clean based on how the customers names sound. I am still trying to understand. With the price paid I was expecting better treatment.

During my families week long vacation we stayed at a total of 5 different hotels. The Embassy was and is by far the nicest and most beautiful hotel of them all. I will forever measure every future hotel against the Embassy. It truly was my family and my favorite of all the places I have stayed. I think the only competition it may have is a themed Disney resort.

We really enjoyed our stay for our 5th Anniversary everyone was so nice and accommodating. The biggest plus was the cleanliness and food options. Overall great stay and we will return!
