No taxi would go down the driveway to collect us or drop us off. I had a broken leg and could not drive so we had to use taxis to get to and from the wedding venue. I could get down the drive using crutches and taking my time, but it was an issue when getting back up to the road to meet the taxi as I could not do it with crutches. Family members came and drove down the driveway to collect me. This was possible because there were two parking bays with the property and we used neither allowing the family member to turn into the bay, then reverse out and head back up the steep driveway. There was no mention of the issue with taxis on booking.com.

The property was beautiful and cosy. It was quaint and had everything we could ask for. It is beautifully decorated and everything provided by the hosts are quality; the towels, linens, tea and coffee etc. they have really thought about the small things and made an effort to make it comfortable. We stayed in Winter and it was nice and warm. I would definitely be staying here again when I return.

It’s only small, but if you don’t have your own transport, it is a 15 min walk to the nearest hop on, hop off bus. There are 1 or 2 small inclines also. Definitely not a deal breaker but might be something to consider.

Fabulous view, cute and quirky accommodation. Spa and balcony area was excellent.Wonderful spot for a weekend.

The Views were fantastic. Hot tub was lovely and hot. We had lots of nice big towels. Comfy bed and pillows. Very well equipped kitchen. The outdoor area was a good size with lots of seating options. Good selection of games. Area is nice and quiet. Shower was great. Complimentary bottle of bubbles was much appreciated.

Rooms were very compact with little room to move around the bed. Trouble with internet/wifi so we had no service for first day and half 2nd day, when it had been fixed we couldn't log into Netflix as the password didn't work. No reply/contact to the message left for the Manager, so we ended up logging into our own Netflix account. Oil heater in kitchen not working, no outside light at door by rubbish bins, couldn't see TV very good from the dining area, French doors onto deck and other bedroom couldn't be opened from outside so person in the outside room had to take key and come around to the other door(with no light) to unlock and go to the bathroom. It was very windy and wet so the doors had to be snibbed otherwise they blew open.

The location was perfect, super close to the main town but still feels nice and remote. Views were amazing and we really appreciated the bottle of Mudbrick bubbles.

the deck was great. would have been tricky if weather was inclement as inside was small for 4 people. the barbecue was very useful

bathroom was adequate but hand basin small the spa pump kept us awake at night.
