Lovely view from balcony high above the town. Room was very comfy. Bathroom ok. Shared lounge was comfy. Shared balcony was great. Shared kitchen ok.

Booking.com made it look as if this was a flat for sole occupation but when I arrived I soon found out that I was sharing the flat with the owner. Luckily he was fine. But I wanted sole occupation and this must be made clearer. I would not have booked if I had known I was having to share the accomodation!

The comfort and view from the balcony were very good.

I thought from the description by Booking.com that I was going to have sole use of the flat. But actually had to share it with the owner. But when I got used to the fact I had a really good stay. Simon was a great host and allowed me to have the lounge and balcony to myself. Made me feel completely at home. Very friendly and accomodating host indeed.

This isn't a hotel, it seems to be an airbandb, the owner has not provided any out of hours check in possibility.

The location was perfect after getting off train and was easy access to Basingstoke. Local shop & food venue was handy. apartment was clean and host contactable. I enjoyed my stay.

Would have preferred a bath to shower after travelling but no room in en-suite for this.
