This hotel is located very convenient to many old town sites and attractions. The subway is located nearby for easy access to/from Vienna Hbf. The staff was very attentive.

This hotel is right in the centre of Vienna 30m from Stephensplatz station (underground). Tube is very cheap and convenient but not necessary for the main sights as most are very close to the hotel. Lots of great restaurants nearby. In my opinion best ones are small independents off the main street. Hotel rooftop restaurant is well worth a visit, beware large portions but very good food. Hotel staff are great, very helpful. The only downside to the hotel is that it can be noisey outside and the bin men arrive at 7am - but that applies to all hotels nearby. We kept windows closed and used air con, this did help. I would def stay again.

I recently stayed at Hotel Royal for a couple of nights, and it was a very good experience. The staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring all my needs were met. They organized an early morning taxi service to the airport, which was very convenient, and even prepared a lunchbox for me to take on my journey. The hotel has a great location and amazing views from the rooftop terrace restaurant, Ristorante Settimo Cielo.

It was HOT! Lobby was hot. Room was HOT! Ac barely ever cycled on even being set to max cool. It’s obviously been locked to a limited setting. Woke up having sweated through the sheets and pillow. Old furnishings. Clearly a lower tier hotel but location is very good. We stayed at a much better hotel earlier in the trip for the same price.

The staff was very welcoming and helpful. And the AC was what you’d expect from an European AC… if not better. It was 90 degrees during the day, but we always slept comfortably. If we go back to Vienna, we’d stay here again and again.

A last minute booking right in the centre of the city. Conveniently located along the shopping strip, with many restaurants and city attractions in walkable distance. Staff were very helpful and friendly, spoke English which assisted us. We ended up staying an extra night thanks to the prime location and likes of the city. An enjoyable stay and would return again.
