The staff were quite lovely ans tried to fix issues. You can't do full scale hotel renovations and maintenance and ask customers to deal with this! 7.20am noise... 6pm noise.... no no no. Close the area and do your renos but dont ask customers to deal with it.

The staff were generally friendly and welcoming at this hotel. There was a weird moment where we felt like we betrayed one of the receptionists for not going to the suit tailor the hotel recommends but apart from that they were nice. We stayed in one of the the loft rooms which was fine for us. Not recommended if you can't do stairs though. The loft design was cool but the room decor is a little outdated. The couch down stairs is possibly the most uncomfortable one I've ever sat on and is not suitable for 2 people. The bathroom small but good enough. I like that they didn't give us plastic bottles. Instead there were 2 refillable bottles which were replaced at room service each day. The fridge and safe both worked well and the aircon was great. Pool was beautiful, with lots of seating and pool side service. We were told off for sipping drinks (kombucha) by the pool which was not purchased at the hotel. I thought that was annoying and poor form. Restaurant is luxury prices for not really luxurious food. Lastly, the walls are paper thin and we could hear neighbours from all angles, at all times of the day. I even woke up to the sounds of our next door neighbours getting down and dirty at 7am one morning. Don't stay here if you value your sleep, privacy or dignity. Overall it was a decent hotel but would probably try somewhere else next time.

Staff was very nice and the breakfast buffet was outstanding. The pool was also very nice. We didn’t want housekeeping daily but the one time we did ask for it they simply gave us new towels but didn’t clean nor clear away dishes.

Loved the helpfulness of all the staff. The pool area is great for relaxing and the rooms are nice and comfortable. Really nice place to go and unwind and would definitely come back.

Beautiful hotel with a nice location in the centre of Hoi An. The hotel as a whole is very pleasing, with almost everything you could wish to have. Beautiful and clean pools in the centre, a lot of greenery, their own herb garden and a nice outside area makes it very scenic. No complaints about the staff as the service was splendid. The breakfast was delicious, with an impressive selection of food and drinks. Eggs and phò was made to order, which is always appreciated. Good selection of fresh fruits and baked goods as well. Did not try the restaurant, but the pool-side serving was good. The room was spaceous, with good amenities. We appreciated the daily bottles of water, fruits and nuts. The interior had some wear and tear, with some malfunctioning lights, but nothing critical. Nice bathroom, but the shower and hot water was difficult to control and the water pressure was poor. Very good air conditioning, with almost no noise. The bed was firm, but nice. We had the rooftop balcony with jaquzzi, but did not use the latter (although it looked nice). The room is properly sound insulated to the city, but there is some noise from the inside hallway.

Perfect choice in Hoi An. A resort style hotel a 10 min walk to the centre of Hoi An. Not too big with a lovely pool area and a great spa. Friendly staff, clean and a great atmosphere lace to stay. Wish we stayed longer.

I stayed at the Almanity for four days. I can't think of any negatives with the hotel, except that the spa services are relatively expensive, which I'm sure is the case with most resorts vs independent spas. The location was very good, about a 12 minute walk to Old Town. The room was very spacious, with a comfortable bed and very good AC. Breakfast was great, with a lot of variety of Asian and Western options, as well as variety from day to day in the Asian options. The pool area is fantastic, with lots of lounge chairs. I will definitely stay at the Almanity again when I return to Hoi An.
