The staff were very helpful and accommodating.
The complementary breakfast with coffee was amazing. ( please tip the severs)
The rooms were a bit dark but clean and comfortable. Beautiful aesthetic and art.
My only complaint, I am a white wine consumer, I feel that 400 pesos for a glass of wine was very expensive. I would have like to enjoy the roof top bar more but was uncomfortable with the prices.

It’s a nice hotel, but it is priced so far above the local market rate (esp off season) that I wouldn’t stay here again. Also, our room had no window - several don’t. The staff were very nice but when we stayed there we had multiple buzzing around us trying to interest us in their services. Instead of that, an upgrade to one of the nicer empty rooms and maybe a more generous breakfast would have been great…

I loved this hotel—stylish, comfortable bed, wonderful location, nice restaurant but it was the staff that made it special. I needed assistance at 2am and the night clerk came to my aid without hesitation. Then for the rest of my stay all the staff inquired if I was ok and could they help me. Way above what is expected. My deep and sincere thanks to them all.

It was lovely. We had a room in the back off the street and it made for a quieter night for us. The staff was very helpful.

The architecture and stylistic choices are unique. The staff were excellent and arranged several interesting experiences for us, including cooking classes and trips around the area.
The breakfast is arranged in the courtyard. We met several guests and had very interesting conversations with them. The restaurant food and bar are excellent.
The property is very close to the main markets and zocalo.

The hotel itself is beautiful, and we loved the felt history of the building underneath the modernity. The staff was welcoming, helpful, and kind. We chose this hotel mostly for its location, but also because we liked the words "rest" and "tranquil" in its description, but there was a night of our stay where it was anything but. They moved the band from the rooftop inside due to rain, and it was very, very loud. The hotel is not very large and with little insulation so when this happens, it sounds like the band is in your room. We had just come back from a long day of sight-seeing, so this was a bit of a bummer surprise. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

I will start this stay with the staff was LOVELY and incredibly helpful. That being said, I had a pretty terrible experience at the hotel.

Wonderful stay at Hotel sin Nombre. Very central to everything in Oaxaca City. If you don't like noise, as for rooms in back. Friendly staff, great food and rooftop. Highly recommend.

Will not be staying here again, customer service needs to be addressed. Manager didn’t think we spoke Spanish and lied to our face.

Disappointing. They combined my laundry with another guests and returned it to me combined with the other guest in a bag unfolded. Shocking!!
When they printed my COVID test results they gave the lab my incorrect birthday. Luckily I noticed it because the correct information is essential for traveling
No safe in the room. Internet was terrible.

What a beautiful place to stay . Thoughtfully curated with a clean minimal style mix with old colonial style . Fun art up that is not distracting. The front desk was very helpful and friendly with every question I had . The kitchen staff always offered food or drink when they see us . The room is peaceful to come into . I read a lot of complaints before hand about the water in the shower on sites that the water was cold . I had that issue myself when ask the front desk to fix it they did while I was out on the town . So everything was fix when we got back which I was pleased by . Also growing up in Mexico myself. I knew you had to run the water awhile until it got warm . Which it did and I was happy . I think people that come to Mexico expect things to be like a big resort. Which they shouldn’t and understand you are in a smaller hotel in these older remodeled colonial buildings. Overall it was a relaxing experience at sin nombre. I would stay again. I have friends who where planning future trips to the hotel asking me as well how the hotel was before staying and I’m going to tell them how much I loved it . I was well taken care of there and would stay again easy. I read some mix reviews about the place being noisy . As for noise you can’t hear anything from my hall door . The streets from my window I did hear sounds of cars and people but that’s just the charm of Mexico and Oaxaca. If people are not satisfied with that then stay at some basic chain hotel .

We were only here for 2 nights during the final leg of our trip, and the hotel was pretty good. It had chill house music playing throughout the day at a comfortable volume which gave it a little more of a hipster vibe. The rooftop is chill and all the servers and staff were always very nice and accommodating. The room is clean and they even give you a little mini bottle of their Gem and Bolt mezcal for free which I thought was an awesome touch.
The only thing is that in the room we were in, which was located on the first floor all the way in the back of the hotel, we could hear the staff clearly walking and talking by our room since I guess there was an employee room back there. The room also had parts of the windows that were open and only covered by a screen which allows a lot of sound in.
Also, one night I brought a pizza back for my girlfriend to eat and they informed us that we could not have any food consumed in the room, which I totally understood. They said she was welcome to eat it in the on site restaurant which she did, but she said she felt a little uncomfortable because employees kept walking by asking her if everything was ok.
In terms of location it was really good, especially if you’re into going to the local markets which are literally 2-3 minutes away by walk. But honestly if your staying anywhere in the main city mostly everything is no more than a 10 minute walk.
Overall a good stay

The hotel is in a central location and walking distance to bars, restaurants, attractions, etc. The staff was fantastic and went out of their way to be helpful, including opening up the restaurant when we arrived near midnight hungry and coordinating our Covid testing to fly home. It's a small, stylish, boutique hotel with a beautiful central courtyard and rooftop deck. Our room was clean and comfortable with a balcony overlooking the street. At first, I was concerned there would be too much noise from the street but the windows can be covered with heavy wood doors that turned the room into a quiet, dark cocoon perfect for sleeping in. Highly recommended!

Very pretty lobby, love the aesthetics and the location. Unfortunately though, it wasn’t very clean, bathroom floor was stained and wasnt cleaned well, no exhaust on near the toilet, so things are moist and poor circulation. Bathroom + toilet combo was so tiny it is hard to move comfortably.
The pool had some green material build up, not clean. I totally understand that due to covid it is not being used but i think they should still keep it clean.
