Good but pancake machine was down

When I got there booking .com did not have my room ready. I paid in advance and I have to wait almost 30 minutes due to an error on booking. Com

8am no eggs, was told that they were out No plans for more.

Friendlier staff felt like prison guards. 1 ice machine on 3rd floor

The staff was extremely pleasant. Anita in the kitchen was stellar and Kim at the front desk was quick and efficient. Definitely would recommend.

The pool was closed for renovations but that’s okay, will return to see it when it’s opened again.

I liked everything except I wish it was a gym.

Location

Poor layout of the room. Temperature of the room was 84 on arrival. Air conditioner was barely adequate. Only 1 wastebasket in the room. Generally hotel felt rundown.

Room was updated with plenty of outlets, including USB to recharge devices. I had to take a zoom meeting and the error message I intermittently received was that my Internet connection was unstable thus my primary suggestion is that they improve Wi-Fi.

This location is clearly a stopover for truckers and journeymen on their way to other places. It had a very transient field to me. The parking lot had several people sitting on top of cars as if they were waiting for others. I made it a point to park close to the front door and retrieve my items out of my car as quickly as I could. This was my impression and I will say that my car was safe overnight.

Bed was comfy

Dirty and uncared for. Carpet was DIRTY in common areas. No hot breakfast

The staff were great! They were very attentive to any if our needs. The facility is close to Hwy 26 & 601. I appreciated that there were no pets allowed as I have several family members that suffer from severe allergies.

The interior of the hotel and rugs in our rugs clearly had not been cleaned in quite sometime.
