The room was large and comfortable. The hotel was clean, and the receptionist who checked us in was exceptional - friendly and welcoming, which is deeply appreciated after a long drive.
The walk-in shower (I had a suite) had no mat. I have a knee injury and the experience to shower felt dangerous. I had to send a member of our team out to buy a shower mat for my safety. The hotel seemed a little old. The suite was decorated in a mid-century modern style which was not very much to my liking, but this is just a personal preference.

Clean with good amenities
When I went online to extend my stay, your website changed my requested dates to the next month. I immediately contacted the hotel and booking.com and informed you both of YOUR error I was given the run-around and I never received a refund even though I contacted you both many times. I’m very disappointed with both parties and will not use either of you again. You both were made aware of the situation through constant contact from me but you kept my money. Terrible experience!!

They place and the ambience of the property is exceptional
I was misled by the free breakfast option. They provide credit not free breakfast. And the credit of 34$ is not sufficient for 3 ppl. A juice would cost 5$ and any breakfast minimum was 15$ so there itself it's more.

The bed was comfortable and it was in a good location in Austin. The restaurants and cafe were nice. Great outdoor seating area. Gym was decent.
The walls are PAPER THIN. And if you have a room that faces the atrium, and anyone is out at the bar past 10 pm, don't plan on going to sleep. There is no soundproofing. I could hear my neighbor's phone conversation, his television, and was kept up both night by the noise coming from the bar. For what we paid to stay here, I couldn't believe how awful the noise level was.

This hotel chain has always been good but now it has been acquired by Marriot Bonvoy it has dropped like a stone.
a few examples when i arrived i gave a credit card over for incidentals for which the hotel manager (that was what she said she was) then proceeded to charge my card over £3300.00 (excuse me but this is not incidentals) my credit card company immediately red flagged it and i couldn't call them back until the following morning. i went down to explain what had happened and she explained that she had only blocked out the amount for the room to which i explained that wasn't what she said she was doing. i said to her no worries the following morning i would sort as i would have the conversation with card early hours of the morning and ok the payment. She then said that she had a another one of my credit cards on file to which i replied "DO NOT USE THAT CARD AS I ONLY EVER USE THE OTHER ONE AS I DON'T GET CHARGED EXCHANGE FEES" The next thing i know i get a text from the second card red flagging a £3300.00 from Renaissance Hotel in Austin, as you can imagine i was not happy. i went down and asked to see the Manager again to be greeted by a blond sour faced woman who apart from being extremely rude then proceeded to tell me she was the CEO of Marriot Bonvoy (i don't think so) i told her what had happened and she told me that she would speak with her and get back to me the following morning. i am still waiting and by the way there was no apology or any other form of correspondence. i on the other hand still have 1 credit card that is still blocked. And just for the record i will be reporting this to the board of Marriot Bonvoy later this week.
i am Absolutely disgusted with the Hotel, The management staff and Booking .com who i use a lot.

Раковина в номере не удобная. похожа на блюдце. С краев раковины все падает. Полочки в ванной не удобные, мелкие узкие, вещи не оставишь. Зубные принадлежности и полотенца использовать не удобно,

Towel refresh was superb. Whenever we needed more coffee someone was up at our door in minutes. Staff at front desk were very friendly. The pool always had water and towels. The gym was sufficiently equipped.

Great location and I like that there is an insight restaurant and bar. The rooms are nice and a good size and love the atrium.
When I booked it said parking was free. When we arrived found out parking is $20 per night. I booked here because they have covered parking. The covered parking lot was closed. Had a party in room next to us all night and they finally moved us to new room at 4am. Will not be back. This used to be my go to stay in Austin. I will find a new place.

Loved the atmosphere of the property. Was very clean and comfortable.
I didn’t like having to pay for amenity, ie: parking & WiFi. I also didn’t like that I had booked a room for three people and was provided a room with only a single bed. When asking the staff for and additional comforter to sleep on the floor, it took almost an hour to receive.

The hotel was beautiful, the room was beautiful.
I did not like that the room refrigerator did not work at all. Also, I thought I was getting a room with a view, and I did not have a great view. The man at the desk was not too nice either.
