We had great communication with Sanjeewa right from the start and were warmly welcomed by our friendly host. Our room was clean and spacious with excellent views from the balcony. Our breakfast of the sweetest tropical fruits, avocado, eggs, toast and smoothies was delicious. Only a short walk from town, or a cheap longer tuk tuk ride. One of our group was feeling unwell and was kindly looked after. We recommend and would visit again if lucky enough to return to Kandy.

We received a room with a side view of the mountain, but the common balcony was exceptionally beautiful, especially for sunrise. The staff was very nice and helpful as well. The room itself was good, nothing exceptional. We would have appreciated a breakfast included as well. Also note that the accommodation is not super easy for drivers to find, but the staff can help lead their way.

Amazing views of the surrounding area around kandy, it is a little bit outside the main city (20 mins walk or 5 mins tuk tuk) but it is quieter. Room was spacious and clean, and the host Ramani took good care of us. Her employee Sanjeewa also deserves a special mention as he was extremely helpful and welcoming and helped us out throughout our stay. Would recommend

The place was neat and the view was spectacular. We spent all day exploring Kandy and the area so barely have time to interact with the owners. But the room was nice.

There are not many options to get food around

Lovely host, stunning view, great breakfast. Very comfortable beds.

Beauty Hills was by far the nicest and cleanest accommodation we have had here so far. The view over Kandy is breathtaking and the rooms are huge. The beds were also very cosy and above all very, very clean. You have peace and quiet here and can get up the mountain super quickly and cheaply with a tuk tuk. Everything you want or need to see is in the immediate vicinity. I can only recommend anyone travelling to Kandy to stay here.

This is one of the nicest places I’ve ever stayed. The view is magic — I loved sitting on the balcony in the evenings and watching the sunrise over the mountains in the mornings. The host, Rahmini (unsure of spelling), is a delight and went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and well-fed (her Sri Lankan breakfasts are sensational and very generous!). Her assistant Sanjeewa was lovely, very helpful and responsive. The room was impeccably clean, spacious and well-kept. The rest of the property was gorgeous, I loved the wooden furnishings. It’s a beautiful and peaceful place located on a quiet forested hillside just out of Kandy centre — I really enjoyed the lush walk into town.

Air conditioning in the rooms would be wonderful, but I knew there was none before I arrived.

When I checked into the room, there was only 20% toilet paper left in the bathroom. Curtains and lights in the building are always closed. Difficult to get into the building, have to ring the bell every time and wait a few minutes for them to answer the bell. This accommodation gives me a strong feeling of unfriendliness.
