The decor was cute and colorful. The kitchen was well appointed with new and state of the art appliances. The house was smaller than it appeared in the photos. The primary bath was quite large with a double sink vanity. The only negative was the size of the shower……very small.
The neighborhood was disappointing. Older houses mostly.
It was quite a long drive into town.

The house was great. I would actually stay there again. It had great beach access and good amenities. It was clean and the bed was a plus, but we did see small ants here and there. We came right after hurricane Beryl so the mosquitos were crazy ridiculous. The internet didn’t work at times and we lost power at night but everything was resolved quickly and it was expected because of Beryl. It didn’t stop us from having fun. The host was accommodating and responded quickly and we will definitely be back. Great location. Quiet beach. Good for families!

LA LUZ is a well-designed, well-maintained home. It is the best and most thoughtfully equipped vacation home we have rented in Galveston in more than twenty years of annual visits. Very clean, right on the beach, and the management is proactive. We lost power one afternoon, and Pablo, the property manager, was right on the ball keeping up informed of Centerpoint Power's progress and projected restoration. While we had no children in our group, La Luz is arranged and equipped to fully cater to families with kids. We'll be back.

This property is in an ideal location - right on the beach and in a great neighborhood - Terramar. A few good restaurants are nearby (within 10 minutes) and the ride to Seawall is easy. We had a group of 4 adults and a couple of kids (grandchildren). We stayed in to cook a number of meals and every kitchen tool, utensil that you could want was found in the cabinets. The house is roomy and cozy with 3 great bedrooms. We spent almost every late afternoon, early evening on the deck just relaxing and enjoying the sounds of the surf, people walking along the beach and……………maybe a drink or two. 😁. We are already talking about another visit and will definitely be back!

The host was wonderful. We had questions about the coffee maker and where to find things. He was patient and helpful and professional. Pablo was terrific!
The house was very pretty and had everything we needed. It was comfortable and the beds and linens were so comfortable.
We brought our dogs and they had a good time too. The walk to the beach was easy. Good restaurants around us too. Book it!

This is a really cool house with great decks. This property has incredible views and is located on a private beach. The layout of the house is excellent which was nice since we had a couple of rainy days and it was very comfortable for four adults to hang out inside. The house is well furnished.
The host was wonderful! We accidentally scheduled during the big biker rally and he allowed us to move the trip back a week. We had a couple of questions and he is very responsive. He also allowed us to come in early since no one had rented the previous day. We have used VRBO's numerous times and he is the best!

Our stay was very nice. Six nights Oct. 2023. Home is clean, well stocked, has all we needed, and is in excellent condition. All appliances worked. Bed comfortable. Towels in good shape. Plenty of beach equipment in garage. Deck furniture in good shape. A very good beach home, and we have stayed in many. We will stay here again if it is available next time we come to Galveston.

We had a great stay here. Compared to other rentals I've stayed in it's clear there's some determined/deliberate care being paid to renters here: the unit is stocked with toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, etc.
And the beach location is perfect. It's very close first of all and even better it's right in the middle between public access in either direction - it's just the right location so crowds aren't on top of you. We stayed during a busy holiday weekend and still had wide open space while just a little bit down in either direction (closer to the public access) it was packed.

The property is exactly as described with direct access to the beach. The house was well equipped with all the proper amenities for a weeks vacation with my time wife and two young boys. This pet friendly home offered a comfortable stay for our furry family member as well!

My family and I had a great time at the beach home. We were able to get out on the beach everyday. My kids loved all the toys and chairs that were there. The house was nice but could definitely use some TLC. We also had a bit of an ant problem. The location of the house is great, and we really enjoyed the caged in area for our dog. We felt very secluded on the beach. We also had so much fun exploring area.

Prime beach-front location on a private beach was perfect for our short holiday stay. A little away from the hustle and bustle but not too far to a small grocery. House is well appointed and very comfortable. Perfect size for 2 small families. Wonderful trip, would love to stay again!

We had an unexpected issue late one night and Pablo responded quickly and resolved it. We had a great time. This is a special section of beach because you can't drive on it. So it's very chill and private. House essentially has two master bedrooms, so it's good for two couples with an upstairs balcony so everyone has their space. Hot shower downstairs, great grill and fire pit. We will be back for sure. Allows dogs.

Family of five stayed with two pups - absolutely loved this place. I searched and checked reviews for weeks trying to find just the right place, and this house didn’t disappoint. Literally steps from the beach (like 5 steps from back grass to beach), spectacular views, no-vehicle beach (a huge plus for us, since we had kids), nice quiet neighborhood. The beds were so comfortable (first time I’ve ever like a bed other than my own!), linens/towels were very nice, premium supplies provided (TP, paper towels, trash bags, laundry supplies), nice appliances, unbelievably stocked Kitchen (every dish/pot/pan you could imagine). The fenced area for our pups was so great - saw a lot of places nearby that didn’t have that, so I was super glad we did. I saw people mention how stocked the garage was with beach chairs, floats, sand toys, etc. but I guess I didn’t believe it because we still packed stuff and found that we barely touched anything we brought because they provide so much! Seriously, you need to bring very little - the owners do a fantastic job at providing as much as possible so you don’t have to. Thanks for such a wonderful stay for our family! Would definitely recommend!!

My family agrees - we think this rental is now our favorite beach house rental! We loved the beachy decor (immaculately decorated throughout the house) as it put us immediately in the mindset of being on vacation and the layout of the house was perfect for our family. We also loved the location (quiet beach), the amenities provided (it is so nice to stay where someone has thought of everything -- including extremely comfortable bedding!), and we found the binder to be very helpful as a visitor guide to the area. All in all - we really loved this rental and want to thank the owners for making it so nice!

This house was in a great location, and the kitchen was phenomenal. It had everything we needed, and a nice big fridge that actually worked! The house is right on the beach, and the walking path to the house is nice. I don't have anything negative to say about the house or the host. The host responded to our questions quickly, and even texted us letting us know that we could check in early. I would absolutely recommend this house.

This house might be our all time favorite. It has a beautiful view on a very quiet and clean beach. The house was comfortable and perfect for our stay. It even has a small dog yard which was very convenient for us. We asked a question and we were immediately accommodated. We would definitely go back.

Beach front fully furnished home steps from the sand🥰! We loved it and it was perfect for our 9! Ages between 2months - 40yrs! We went crabbing and even caught some blue crab(we released them after ooohhhing and ahhhhhing at how cool they are)...
That sunrise on the top balcony was worth every penny!
