It was a wonderful place to stay! Right in the walking district of Vienna - close to EVERYTHING! The street has no cars, which is great. Paul and his family are great hosts - so helpful, kind and responsive. If we were back in Vienna, we'd definitely stay there again! Thanks Paul!

We commend the renovation of a spacious apartment in an older building. The apartment is well-insulated from both weather and noise. The rooms are large, nicely appointed, and easily accessible. The living room has two large sofas and a small table with three chairs that we found ideal for playing cards. Also, there a good television with a large variety of channels, a DVD/CD player, a number of movies as well as music CD’s, and a good selection of books and Vienna information. The kitchen has a six-person table, modern appliances, is well-stocked with dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment. The bathroom has both a bathtub and a shower. The apartment also has a washer and dryer.
We look forward to returning.

It's just an incredible apartment! Beautiful finishes and all the amenities needed for a great stay in Vienna. The bedrooms, kitchen, living room, bathrooms, and laundry were all top-notch. It is close to public transportation and easy walking to stores and restaurants. Communication with hosts was easy, and they were very responsive. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

This is a very large apartment in a perfect location - close to central part of Vienna, near metro and trams, but miraculously doesn't feel like it's a tourist nest!

After arriving at the Vienna airport we took the fast train into town which was across from the airport. Suzanne met us at the apartment were we left our baggage and explored the city as check-in was at 4PM. The apartment was very comfortable & inviting with easy access to the wifi. The kitchen was well equipped, although we needed to google how to turn on the stove. We definitely would stay again at this location!

This was the last leg of our Europe tour and it was greatly appreciated to have such a wonderful place to stay. Susan and Reinhold were wonderful hosts and their apartment was spacious and clean. Having a full living room area and dining area off the kitchen made our last 4 days in Europe incredibly relaxing. The building is located near the academic/university area and was wonderfully quiet and relaxing. The metro is just a hundred meters away from the front of the building which made travelling around Vienna so easy. Having a washer and dryer to use as well was a huge plus. I want to thank both of you again. It was a wonderful stay for my family and I and we would eagerly come back in the future.

A very light, airy, quiet, warm apartment. We stayed in April & it was cold so a comfortable place to come back to was very welcome. The flat is well equipped & clean. The host was very helpful & the location is amazing. Right next to the tube station to all the best places to see & things to do & connection to the airport. Big local supermarket just round the corner. Only (very minor) gripe: it needs better pillows & some cushions on the sofa. A house book with instructions on how everything works would be useful & a visitor book for comments & tips would be nice. But we could not have had a better place to stay. Thank you for a most enjoyable holiday.

A spacious four rooms apartment in an old typical Vienna building (9th quarter of Vienna) in a cosy neighborhood. Small restaurants and cafes as well as alimentary shops in close vicinity. Two minutes walk to the subway station. Sigmund Freud Museum and Lichetstein Garden Palace at walking distance. Easy communication with the host and kind response to our needs.

This was our first visit to Vienna and we had a great time. The apartment met all of our needs. We are a family of 4 (two adult children) and it was more than big enough for us all. It’s also well equipped so we were able to cook our Christmas Dinner easily. we cannot say enough about the location with the metro station 2min away. We had no problem navigating the system and at the end of some long days it was a easy travel back to the flat where we were able to relax. Thank you for accommodating our early checkin and for quickly responding to all of our questions. We are already looking forward to our next visit and you can bet we will look at staying at your property again! Happy New Year!!

Staying here was such a pleasure. The apartment is even larger than the pictures suggest, and it is equipped with everything you need. It is located just steps from the underground and only blocks from buses in a lovely neighborhood with good restaurants and shops. The hosts are friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

The apartment is in a great location, walking distance to the cathedral and opera house. There are a couple grocery stores within a few blocks and some good restaurants nearby. Nice kitchen to do some cooking. Be aware that it is on the third floor so there are some steps. We definitely would stay here again.

This unit has everything: excellent location and neighborhood, within minutes of all that you'd need to experience Vienna like a local resident (grocers/restaurants/transit/cheap parking, easy access to main Vienna attractions); very spacious and well-furnished; well-equipped (full range of cooking equipment/utensils, fans, home electronics, power converter, even some basic spices in kitchen); everything clean and in solid working order (strong WIFI, newer high-end appliances, nothing broken or in need of repair). Everything as advertised, with no hidden fees or nasty surprises.
Equally important: outstanding hosts. Extremely flexible in accommodating last-minute changes and very quick to respond to emails. Sincerely interested in the quality of our stay and offered very kind assistance to our family which went above and beyond our expectations.
Would stay here again without hesitation.

What we liked most was the 2 minute walk to the subway station and the 12 minute ride to the city centre - best way to get around vienna. Cost me 4 euros to take the train from the airport to the local subway station using ÖBB and subway trains in less than 30 minutes.
The owner has an office in the same building making handover of keys very simple.

Conveniently located & comfortable apartment
We loved our stay in Vienna. The apartment is clean & comfortable & has everything you need. It is close to the underground & a short walk to shops & restaurants. It is easy to find from the airport. We used the Citylink train & the underground, which was fast & convenient.
It is a busy road at the front of the building but the bedrooms are at the back so quiet enough to get a good rest & the shutters on the windows keep the rooms cool & dark. The only thing to consider is the steps up to the apartment as there is no lift.
The communication with the owners was efficient & friendly & we were warmly greeted on arrival.
Overall, we had a fantastic week & we would definitely choose to stay here again.

Perfect Accomodations!
We had a fantastic time in Vienna, thanks to the wonderful home that the Schwarzenbachers let us stay at! Very comfortable and convenient to everything, within walking distance to the best attractions and restaurants in Vienna, but also just a quick walk to the public transit station. We happened to stay here during extreme heat wave that covered most of Europe, but the unit was comfortable and clean, which made it ideal. We would love to come back to Vienna again, and will definitely try to stay here again.

Sono da poco rientrata da un breve soggiorno a Vienna con la mia famiglia.
La città è splendida e la casa di Susanne, altrettanto!!! Siamo stati veramente bene ed in totale relax perchè la casa è molto silenziosa, in un contesto signorile. Molto comoda per arrivare in centro in pochi minuti con la metro che ferma proprio davanti a casa! In casa c'era già tutto dalla biancheria al phon per capelli...Vi consiglio vivamente questa scelta.
