We had four grow up couples ( friends and family) attending the Duke Mayo Classic football game. We also had a handful of university students ( our kids) stay. This was a great location to relax and visit with friends. Everyone had a comfortable place to sleep.

We were a group of eight adults and loved the house and its location. Short walk to bars and stores, or take a long walk around the beautiful neighborhood. All of us felt safe in the entire area. The owner is very responsive. We'd rent again in a heartbeat!

A group of 7 women in for a conference. We enjoyed the house and having enough space for everyone to have a bed and space to hang out together.
The house could use better towels, shampoo and conditioner as well as wine glasses however. An easy fix to make it more comfortable

We had a great time at this house. It was an older home that the owner has done a great job renovating and updating. That house was well maintained and clean. You can easily walk to all the restaurants and bars in Plaza Midwood. Would highly recommend and will look to come back. Thanks!

Excellent home with ALL the space & amenities we needed. Great neighborhood and nice & understanding neighbors!! Host was very easy to communicate with. Even the cleaning lady was cool. Highly recommend for large parties. This home had ZERO issues from cleanliness to functionality. Book it!!!! Worth every penny!

Very accommodating for wedding events
My now wife and I needed a house for some pre-wedding events and our stay in Commonwealth delivered all that we needed. There was plenty of space for guests to hang out and eat meals and the outside was perfect for our two dogs to run around. Michael was very helpful and communicative when there were some minor issues. He assisted us even when he was on vacation! Definitely would recommend this house for anyone wanting a spacious and comfortable house close to the heart of Charlotte.

Lots of space, great location, very pet friendly!
This is a great place for a large group, it is in an excellent location walking distance to many options. The rooms are setup in a way that 3 rooms have a private bathroom which is excellent. The rooms on the first floor share a full bathroom but that worked out fine. It is not a new house but it had everything we needed for the wedding weekend we were there for. We had a small dog that loved the fully fenced in yard and fenced in front porch area. Overall fabulous space in this house in a location that allows you to walk everywhere! The host was very responsive and gave a ton of helpful info. Thanks, would love to come again!

Wonderful Wedding Weekend
We were in town for our daughter's wedding and the house was perfect for our needs. We had ample room for our party of 11 to spread out with 2 family rooms, a kitchen and dining room. We used all of the spaces. We enjoyed relaxing in the backyard and ate several family meals outside. On our last night we made a fire in the fire pit and made smores.
Communication with Michael, our host, was outstanding. He was incredibly responsive and we had no problems during our stay. The neighborhood is absolutely charming. We loved our stay and will definitely be back.

Nice house in a great Neighborhood
The whole experience was very easy and very comfortable. The house is just outside the city, within walking distance to a few bars, grocery store and other shops. A Uber ride into the city is approx. 5 to 10 minutes and cost about $8. Perfect location for a large family looking to enjoy Charlotte.

I came to CLT to celebrate my son’s wedding. At arrival, there was an electrical issue. The property had only partial electricity (3 bathrooms out of 4, 6 bedrooms out of 7, and two common/living room areas had no electricity). It was too late to book alt. accommodations and upon contacting the owner, I understood the problem was easily addressed. My guests prepared for a rehearsal dinner by ironing their clothing in the kitchen; only one bathroom was available for 9 people to shower and attend to personal needs. While at the rehearsal dinner, refrigerated items I had purchased were spoiling in a refrigerator that I was not aware was not working. My friends and family were to arrive for breakfast early the next morning. I had to cancel. The owner agreed to some compensation for my and my guests’ inconveniences; for 20 hrs. of the 47 hrs. of our stay, we had very limited electricity.When I returned to my own home, I contacted the owner. I mentioned other aspects that were negative: there is no true ‘third floor’ as described for this home. One moves from the second floor, two to three steps up, to a wide, open space that the owner considers a ‘third’ floor’. Further, the bedroom advertised on this floor is actually a storage/laundry room with no closet and a small cot. Used tobacco products were found in dresser drawers, garbage was on the front and back lawn, and a bedspread that has a large red stain present. Guests purchased their own toilet paper. It was as if we were in college housing, not clean, disorganized, with badly stained furniture. Many items needed repair. The owner went on the offense, making false accusations, saying I had hosted a wedding reception in his home (I gave him the wedding planer’s name to verify that the reception was held at a downtown hotel). He then accused me of having double the guests I had agreed to. Not true. He claims guests following us into his rental had to leave, costing him his booking because we had brought in bedbugs. Absolutely not true!Clearly the owner was retaliating; any compensation promised was refused. My last email exchange included the following: " Let me know how much confrontation you want to get into.” My rental experience marred the joy for me and my guests, who were to celebrate a beautiful occasion. All will be well if you keep quiet and have no concerns.,

This was a very relaxing place to stay. Comfortable beds, great showers, and relaxing spaces. Great communication with Michael. Great are in Charlotte to stay for food, bars, and convenience.

Great Location and House. Perfect for our group
We had 9 people for the ACC tournament. The Location was great and easy to uber in for the games or hanging out in Charlotte. The House was the perfect size and plenty of bedrooms / bathrooms for our Group. (3 couples, and 3 single, and everyone had their own room/ bathroom!) We loved the outdoor deck and spent alot of time at the house when we weren't at the games, or walking around midtown plaza. Cute area! Harris Teeter was a few block walk away. Definitely would stay here again.

It's clear the owner pays attention to detail and tries to stay on top of things. We emailed on arrival just to mention that the oven was dirty and a light bulb was out (couldn't find the replacements) and he jumped right on it and sent someone over.

We rented this property for a wedding weekend. It was in the perfect location...close to where we needed to go but also great coffee and shops and groceries within walking distance! Plenty of room for our big group! I'd recommend this property to anyone! Thanks to Mike for great communication!

Our group loved the well equipped kitchen that had adequate counter space to satisfy our needs. The location of the house, within walking distance to restaurants and stores, was very convenient. This house is great for a large group to socialize. The spacious deck, back yard space and a new cornhole game, and nice front porch were definitely a plus. Some minor suggestions for improvement include wall mirrors in the downstairs bedrooms, provide an information booklet that contains tv and stereo instructions, and menus for nearby restaurants; and living room furniture is a little large for the space on the main floor but good for gathering. Any large group wanting to rent a great house to spend time together in while having private sleeping rooms should consider this well appointed home.

Great place for large gatherings
The house easily accommodated 13 people. We really enjoyed our stay. The TV system took some getting used to but it was very nice. I would recommend this house with seven bedrooms to anyone looking for several bedrooms.

Our stay was amazing!!! We enjoyed everything about the house!!
We loved the house! It was big enough for all of us and the music system helped out a lot!! We even sat outside and made s’mores reminiscing on life. A few people played corn hole. It was just a great experience in Charlotte. The house is also located in a good area where we didn’t have to travel too far for anything we were trying to do!

This house is amazing!! I went for my bachelorette party. It’s very adorable.
Almost every room has their own bathroom. Every bed is a full or bigger. I wound up falling asleep on the couch one night because it was so comfy. The backyard is sick and has everything you want to hang with friends. The house is so close to everything. We walked to most restaurants and the downtown is 5 min uber ride. I will definitely be going back for another girls getaway. Mike is a great host👌🏼

Fantastic house in the heart of Charlotte
Stayed for a bachelor party, great location parking, amenities and house. A lot of effort has been put into the place and it really shows. Great experience and my rental of choice for larger groups in charlotte. Rent it!
