Quando entri in casa, sei salutato con una zona living e una cucina in stile open-concept. La cucina ti lascerà dire WOW! La cucina recentemente ristrutturata è il sogno di uno chef. È dotato di controsoffitti in granito, elettrodomestici in acciaio inossidabile, una grande isola, tonnellate di controsoffitto, e anche un salotto per la gente per rilassarsi e chiacchierare.
Appena fuori dalla zona cucina è il salotto aggiornato. Abbassati su uno dei tanti divani o sedie e cattura l'ultimo spettacolo o gioco sul televisore a schermo piatto montato sul muro. La sala da pranzo si trova accanto alla zona giorno e alla cucina. Ha accesso diretto al portico schermato. Ottimo posto per gustare una tazza di caffè al mattino!
La master suite con un letto matrimoniale si trova alla fine della sala. C'è un grande televisore a schermo piatto montato sul muro. La camera da letto presenta una cabina armadio e un bagno privato ristrutturato con doppio lavabo e ampia cabina doccia. We enjoyed a wonderful week at 48 Mooring Buoy over the Fourth of July, bringing together 4 kids ranging from 2-9 and 6 adults. The house is very well set up for a family. The pool was wonderful and included stairs that worked very well for the younger (and older) members of the family. The beach is much closer than we expected down a lovely trail, and the neighborhood had great running/walking trails that everyone enjoyed. The property management company made everything easy and was extremely responsive (although we really didn't need anything). The only suggestion would be to include a few more items in the kitchen - very hard to cook for a crowd without baking sheets, hot pads, bowls, etc. Bring your own if you plan on making meals. We would definitely stay again!

Our family of 6 adults and 5 children (ranging in ages from 3-15) thoroughly enjoyed our stay at 48 Mooring Buoy! The layout of the home was perfect for us, clean, well maintained, and kid friendly. The property description is very accurate and the only amenities our family could have used more of were forks and knives because we love to stay on the property for meals most days. The property manager was also very quick to solve any issues we had. The outdoor pool and spa area is great (we did pay extra for heat in the spa), and the short walk to the beach make it an excellent location. We rented bikes which were also a big hit with the whole family. We would definitely stay here again!

48 Mooring Buoy was the perfect property for our family trip to Hilton Head. We were a group of 12 people (five families) and this house couldn't have been more ideal. The property description is very accurate, and the location CANNOT be beat! The house is situated right next to a beach access path and is a very short walk from the beach- doable for even the two-year-old in our group. It was windy for a portion of our trip, which eliminated the beach as an option. We were so thankful to have a private pool and the trees surrounding the house provided protection from the wind. The house was clean and well-maintained. It is an older home, but recent renovations provide a modern look and feel. Coastal Home & Villa provided excellent customer service; they ensured we had everything we needed every step of the way. I highly recommend this property and would definitely rent from Coastal Home & Villa again in the future.

This property was beautiful and its’ lovely rooms gave my family both privacy and fabulous together space. Minutes walk to the beach and lovely backyard is perfect for relation. It’s also an easy walk/bike ride to town restaurants, pickleball etc. Some questions came up regarding the home and management was quick to answer and respond. Despite the hurricane, it was a fabulous stay!

Hate to give such a good review b/c it'll only make it more difficult to rent again. Spacious, comfortable, well furnished for a large number, kitchen adequately equipped, plenty of parking and soo convenient to the beach. If TV is your thing - there are plenty! For the price did expect more in beach supplies (chairs, buggy to transport, boogie board, cooler?). House also needs better cleaning equipment - vacuum, floor swiffer, clean mop. We'd definitely return. And kudos to property management. When we arrived the coffee brewer was broken and they replaced with new coffee maker asap.

Location is great, the outside of the house is great, but being by the woods there are lots of bugs and leaves and you have to skim the pool multiple times a day. However it is very relaxing and enjoyable. Nice tv outside
The inside of the house looks nice, however when we arrived there were a lot of bugs, again being by the woods and having people move bags in and out I could see how that happened. House had plenty of room. I did enjoy all the house ehad to offer. 2 negatives about the house is that I thought it had a smell to it, like older people. Maybe fresh paint would help with that. Also all of the couches and pillows were feather in the common area, that's a negative for those of us with allergies

Great Location and Property
Our family had a great experience with this property. Proximity to the beach was important, and did not disappoint. This house has been well maintained, and possesses high-quality furnishings. Plenty of king size beds that were firmly comfortable. Air conditioning was perfect for the main floor as well as the one room that is ground level. The pool is in great shape. However there is no safety restraint that would prohibit a toddler getting out the back door and having immediate access to the pool. The kitchen was modestly supplied with cookware, and if you need more than a half a teaspoon for your measuring bring your own. Having access to a garage was bonus material for storing bikes and beach gear.
Overall, for a group of 14 there was ample space to spread out and gather.

This house accommodated our group of 13 easily. 6 adults, 5 kids and 2 teenagers! We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The back yard is an oasis and only a very short walk (even with small kids) to the beach. The open concept was great for gathering but also offered beautiful rooms with ensuites for your own personal space when needed. The house was clean and welcoming when we arrived with lots of room in the kitchen with plenty of seating. The location of this rental is also ideal. Not too far from the beach, central on the island making it a 20min drive to either end for site seeing. A close walk to the general store or short drive to groceries. I would definitely rent this property again! Highly recommend! It was also a pleasure working with the lovely people at Coastal Home and Villas! We received an email stating our house was ready 3 hours early for check in which was a lab added bonus!

This house accommodated our group of 13 easily. 6 adults, 5 kids and 2 teenagers! We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The back yard is an oasis and only a very short walk (even with small kids) to the beach. The open concept was great for gathering but also offered beautiful rooms with ensuites for your own personal space when needed. The house was clean and welcoming when we arrived with lots of room in the kitchen with plenty of seating.
The location of this rental is also ideal. Not too far from the beach, central on the island making it a 20min drive to either end for site seeing. A close walk to the general store or short drive to groceries.
I would definitely rent this property again! Highly recommend! It was also a pleasure working with the lovely people at Coastal Home and Villas!

Coastal Home and Villa were the best management company that we have worked with over the last 10 years. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. They promptly fixed any concerns that we had, even on a Sunday! The home was perfect for our 4 families with kids ranging from 13-2.

Lights were out in basement bedroom and bath on arrival. Someone came and fixed that. However, light over the basement bath was out and bulb not delivered until Monday. Doors squeaked throughout the house. Very irritating when some trying to sleep in. Pool and deck area blown off only once during our stay, while at most properties where we have stayed on HHI, this us usually done much more often. Minor issue, but still an issue, single ply toilet paper and facial tissues. For the price, this seemed awfully cheap.

This beach house was perfect for our friends vacation of 3 families (4 people each)! The location was close to the beach, amazingly quiet, but also very convenient to the general store, bike store, and Shelter Cove. The layout worked perfectly for us, with the 3 master bedrooms providing each family space, and the kids had an area to bunk together. We really liked the outside entertainment space, especially the "cave" for the kids to hang outside but out of the sun. The multiple air conditioning units kept the house nice and cool, and the access to the large garage space allowed us a place to store all of the beach gear when not in use. We really appreciated the added touch of having beach chairs, pool and sand toys, and beach towels available. Unfortunately we packed all of those items as well, so it would have been nice to know about them beforehand and saved some room in the car. There were a couple of small maintenance items we noticed during our stay, including very squeaky bedroom doors, the kitchen sink faucet that was nearly falling off, and some dirt/mold around the refrigerator in-door water/ice dispenser. We all felt that it would be nice to have an outdoor shower/foot wash to clean off the sand, as the locations of the houses weren't super helpful for that. Overall, we had a great time and really appreciated the opportunity to stay at this property!

The home was perfect for us. We did not like the chairs that were placed on the sand. There were millions of ants. There were also a lot of mosquitos. The shower in the lower level was very small and it was hard to find the correct temperature. The walk to the beach was great. All in all we would stay at this house again.

Clean upon arrival and well appointed for our needs. Kids especially enjoyed the pool and the close walk to the beach. We like to cook, so we found the kitchen falling a bit short in cookware. Need muffin tin 6 or 12 size would be a good addition. Knife selection was okay, but would not slice hot butter, well maybe it would, but you get the point. They need to be sharper for people who cut meat and veggies. Appreciated the labels on light switches, very helpful. Light bulbs in several lamps were burned out. Need to check before guest arrive. Great place and convenient to all aspects of a Hilton Head stay. Upgrade the kitchen cookware and you'll have a 5 STAR rating from the Kindreds.
