A beautiful bijou property but with every facility you could need. All equipment was of high quality and helpful hints plus leaflets of local activities. We were contacted by hosts to advise of the possibility of viewing the Southern Lights which was very thoughtful. Wrong time of year to enjoy the outdoor bath and not enough time alas to get round to the BBQ. Should have stayed longer!

Nothing - the accommodation is bijou which means that the bedrooms don't have much space besides the comfy beds. No problem for us as one couple - we just used the spare bedroom to store our cases and spare clothes but for two couples would be cramped.

The outdoor bath and being able to look at the stars was wonderful. The beds were soft and the location meant that you could walk to the lake.

travelling from Australia there really isn’t a lot of room in the bedrooms to accommodate luggage. definitely a tight squeeze.

Beautiful location, easy to find. The view from the lounge room is incredible. The rooms are nice and stylish. Being able to do laundry was very convenient. It's an easy walk to the lake and town. Good to have a dishwasher.

It seems a bit expensive considering the first bedroom doesn't have any bedside table or even just a small shelf for phone and water. The bedrooms are super small, we could barely fit one suitcase in them. We were three people so having three suitcases was an issue. Unfortunately I also didn't see that there is no oven in this accomodation (wouldn't call it a "full kitchen" then) and we brought food that needs an oven to be cooked. Fly screens would be appreciated (everywhere in New Zealand really) because there were flies, wasps, bees, moths and mosquitoes inside the house all day. The only other issue was the Aircon, it randomly turned on and was super hard to turn off (we turned it off but it kept turning on).

Location, quiet, space

could do with a few more utensils and basic supplies in the kitchen. Maybe trim the shrubs to open up the view from the outside table. TV reception was patchy.

This is a quality house with all modern facilities and a good view out to the alps. It's an easy walk to the Tekapo village.

Great place to stay with amazing views. Appreciated all the smaller touches like shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Highly recommend!
