Stylish and comfortable accommodation in a great place

Do yourself a favour and stay more than one night. It’s in a great location, comfortable and clean, can chill inside with nice views or outside with the free range chickens (and we had some ducks by our door too). The farm animals are cool, they provide some feed. We unfortunately check in late so we missed a lot of unwinding time in a beautiful place. Loved that they turned the heaters on for us on anticipation of arrival too

Everything was lovely start to finish. The lodgings were comfortable, clean, well designed, and had everything we needed including laundry and detergent!

Everything. Have stayed before and whenever I am in Tekapo, I will stay in this place as it's awesome! Comfortable, cosy, friendly staff and even has animals, cannot fault it

Loved the hot tub and the fire! The ‘Alpine Lodges’ are just charming - beautifully appointed, private and cosy.

Lovely bathroom but the open shower meant the floor was always drenched.

We liked that the cabin was lovely and warm for our arrival which in the middle of winter was great. The cabins have a lovely cosy feel and excellent log burners.

Could do with somewhere to hang coats.

Gorgeous little cabins, stylish and comfortable. The outdoor spa was amazing. The staff were very friendly.

Loved everything

The cozy feel of the cabin with the ambience of the wee fire. Have stayed here before and knew this was the place I wanted to come stay at again.

The split mattress on the bed were at two different heights, one side of the bed was higher than the other side. Although both halfs were comfortable, just not combined.

Beautifully new cabins with luxe fittings and linen. Loved the overall feel.

Loved the convenient location (5 mins from a supermarket) and the awesome hot tub when temperatures dipped to single digits! Rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. Kitchen was also clean and well appointed. The addition of sheep, alpacas, ducks and a miniature cow were also much loved by my daughter.

Alpine Lodges would have to be one of the most beautiful accommodations I have ever stayed in. Everything from the staff, the fireplace, the whole space within itself, the cleanliness, the comfort of the beds, the farm animals. Everything was amazing. Location was excellent, only a short walk or drive into town. Honestly though, the farm animals were the absolute highlight for me. Reception gave us food daily so we could feed them! Thanks so much. I can't see myself staying anywhere else if I am to visit Lake Tekapo again. Mum and I became pretty quickly obsessed with the cinnamon scrolls from a local cafe called The Greedy Cow - please do yourself a favour!

This place was absolutely amazing. We loved the fireplace and the spa and the farm animals. But also so many other things to love

The cabin was amazing, well equipped, warm, very comfortable, loved the small wood burner, big comfortable beds and outstanding views of Lake Tekapo.

No outdoor furniture to sit and enjoy the amazing views. Very little explanation of the cabin or how to operate anything in the folder. No Brush or vacuum to clean up crumbs on floors.

Beautiful location and views. The room was super cosy and clean with all the amenities we needed. We could have comfortable stayed for weeks. The fireplace and bath were perfect for relaxing after a long day at Mt Cook.

Lovely lodge with tastefully designed interior. Very cozy and have everything we need.

After travelling for 24+ hrs from Cali without much sleep, I arrived at The Cairns and was glad that the check in process was quick and easy. Just get the keys and you are on your way :) I stayed at the Alpine Lodge Unit with 2 Bedrooms + 1 Bathroom configuration. Everything is 100% as described and pictured on Booking.com. The cabin is super comfy, cozy and amazingly clean. I slept so well :) The staff is also exceptional. Sam was really awesome giving me helpful local tips and hiking trails recommendation at Mt. Cook. Thank you Sam for your hospitality!
