Our family came to HHI for the first time and our visit was just as we had hoped! We weren't sure what the weather would bring post Debby but it was amazing. Staying at Homer and Janettes villa was just perfect for our family for the week. It had everything we needed and a few more. The floors were a bit sandy when we got there but that's anticipated when on a beach vacation. The kitchen had just what we needed and the place was very spacious along with very comfy beds. The bikes were also an added bonus as well as the beach gear. The location was the best part of all though. It was such a quick walk to the beach and with kids in tow, that makes such a difference as well as close to the pool. We couldn't have asked for a better week and we are already talking about making a return trip in the future to stay here! Thank you for allowing our family to enjoy a little slice of heaven at your place!

Loved how close we were to the beach. Very nice home and they always responded to my questions very quickly. Had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay. Loved the location with the close beach access and the pool which did not seem busy. It was fun seeing the wildlife in the lagoon by the pool. Loved the chairs to use on the beach. Condo could use a few updates but overall it had everything we needed for a relaxing week.

This condo was great for my family (2 parents, 5 children). The condo itself was spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. We especially liked how close the unit was to the pool--literally just out the back door and to the left a few units. The unit was very close to the beach access paths, which was a must for our large family and all of our gear. You did have to cross the road to get to the beach but there were marked crosswalks and we felt very safe doing so. Overall it's less than a 5 minute walk to the beach. The owner was also very responsive to the few questions we had. We will definitely come back!

We had a blast! Everything was well-appointed and owners were prompt to respond. Close to beach (directly across the street is the path) and we loved utilizing the beach chairs and toys provided for the kids. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!

We have been to Palmetto Dunes many times and have always had a great experience. This villa is close to beach, was spotlessly clean and had all the equipment we could hope for. Everything worked, there was great communication with the owner and I couldn’t be more pleased.

Fantastic property in amazing resort area. Expansive breadth of beach. Biking. Golf. Kayaking. Tennis & Pickleball at your doorstep in this Palmetto Dunes location. Everything accessible on bikes provided by Host!

We had a wonderful stay over Thanksgiving. Great unit--just as advertised. And the location is amazing. It's a short walk out on the tree-lined path to the beautiful uncrowded beach. Tennis, pool, bike paths right there. And yet, there is the general store a block away and all of the shops only 5-10 min drive. We would have rented again for the spring if it had been available for our dates!

Updated spacious condo in a great community. Lots to see and do. Beach and multiple restaurants within very short walking distance. Homer was very helpful with many recommendations. Would recommend and we look forward to a return visit. We had a great stay.

Enjoyed our stay. Prime location … short walk to Alexander’s, General Store and the Trent Jones course. Homer provided the best welcome email ever. Very complete with plenty of suggestions for dining and activities. We will definitely look to return in the future.

Great proximity to the beach, Dunes House beach side restaurant. Good place for bicycle riding, walking, jogging. Close to the pool. Krogers grocery store is just a short drive away.

Great location, Great condo, Great host!!
Condo is located short walk down a path to the beach. Easy walk to general store, bike rentals, and restaurant. The condo itself was clean, well equipped (kitchen, beach, etc). and very spacious. Homer was a great host. He emailed us amazing suggestions for restaurants, activities, and general info about the area. Would definitely stay again.

We were looking for a clean, updated home with plenty of room for our family to feel at home. This unit was wonderful! We were close to the beach, and the pool. The home was roomy and well stocked.
We had an issue with minor flooding 1 night, but the owners were easy to contact and always responded quickly.
We had a great time and would definitely be fine with staying again.

As a family of three we had a wonderful week in the beautiful villa in Ocean Cove. Only two minutes to the beach and five minutes to excellent golf courses! Host Homer replied directly and the house is very well equipped! We can only recommend to stay there!

This condo was perfect for our family. We really like having the both the upstairs and downstairs to ourselves, it makes unpacking and packing during our stay a breeze not to mention grocery shopping unloading. Parking right outside our door was also a plus. The condo was very clean, updated, comfortable, and had all the amenities that we needed. The walk to and from the beach is close and simple.

This property was perfect for our family of 4. It was right across the street from the path to the beach! So easy to get there! The pool is also super close. We enjoyed both all week. The condo had everything you need to cook with. We enjoyed dining Al fresco. The owner Homer could not have been nicer and was easy to communicate with. My only issue was the first night we could really hear the neighbors talking through the bedroom wall. But after that first night it was pretty quiet. We really enjoyed our week here and would definitely stay again!

Our stay was wonderful from start to finish. It was clean and comfortable. The owners left plenty of suggestions as to where to eat, etc. in the area. Such a convenient location! Close to shops, beach, and plenty of golf. We would definitely (and hope to) stay here again.

We Were Sad We Had To Leave!
We had a perfect week! The condo is updated, well-stocked, comfortable, and the location cannot be beat! We have three children, so the close proximity to the beach and the pool was awesome! We were also grateful to have access to the supplied beach chairs, toys, and bicycles!
Homer checked in with us at the beginning and end of our stay to make sure we had everything we needed.
My family has been visiting HHI for nearly 30 years and this is one of the best condos we have ever stayed in! If you are looking for a great, mid-island location, you have found it!

Great Place!
This is the second time we have stayed at Ocean Cove and loved it both times. The location is great, the property was clean and comfortable. I would go back here without even looking at what else is available. Just a perfect little spot only a 3 minute walk to the beach, close to restaurants and shopping. The owners were very responsive and it was an easy check-in and out process. We had a great time!

Always a Wonderful Get-Away!
We love Hilton Head and have been coming for our summer vacation for several years. After trying different spots on the island, we have decided we love this spot in Palmetto Dunes the best. It is close to the beach and close to the General Store and tennis/pickleball center, all of which we visit several times during the week we are there! The condo is updated, comfortable, and like home. We will keep staying here every year until we get booted out!

Very nicely appointed and clean villa, with everything needed for a family vacation, including bicycles and beach supplies. Excellent location very close to the beach and pool, and a short walk to the general store. We had a lovely stay!

Repeat guest
This was our second time for an extended stay at this property. It is comfortable and convenient. Great location for walking and biking and only a 3 minute walk to the beach. The owner is very responsive to any question or issue. We are already booked to return next year.!

Perfect Location for December Stay!
This is our 3rd stay on HHI and our first stay with VRBO. This location was perfect for walks on the beach and centrally located on the island. Our week in December was not crowded and we walked everywhere. Everyone we met was so friendly. This condo had everything we needed. Homer was quick to reply and very accommodating. We appreciated all the homey decorations. Thank you!

Little piece of heaven
We love this area. Many nice restaurants some walking distance and many biking distance. Bike riding is so much fun on the miles of path or miles of beach. Bike rental is a snap including delivery. This condo was so well maintained/updated as well as well supplied. Comfort items to start your stay as well as everything you need to prepare and eat your meals. Nicely furnished and decorated, clean and comfy. Plenty of room for a family or 2 couples and then some. Nicely labeled to eli.inate many questions but owners answered the few we had almost immediately. Really enjoyed our stay and would love to return sometime soon.

Great Thanksgiving stay in Hilton Head
Great property and great location (very convenient to the beach). Kitchen was fairly well stocked (even had a crock pot).
My only feedback is if you have children (like we do) the upstairs bedroom was magically able to transfer the 70 lb offspring into two ton elephants when they got out of bed in the morning. I could clearly hear them move above us. What's interesting is I never, ever heard the neighbors.
I also think the primary bedroom's mattress is at the end of it's era, but these two issues were minor and we would definitely stay again. Thank you!

Awesome place to stay!!
This condo surpassed all of our expectations! It was super clean & nicely decorated, exactly like the online photos. The king bed was very comfortable and the condo had everything we needed! The location is superb as it is so close to the beach as well as the courts & main entrance. We especially appreciated having bikes to use as we loved biking on the beach & throughout the resort & island. The day after we arrived, Homer even texted us to see if everything was going well. We would highly recommend renting from them!!
