Great room and excellent for exploring York - hotel very clean.

Parking your car is quite expensive but very secure - there is a NCP car park over the road if not.

Liked the location, staff friendliness & facilities. Room had coffee bags (like), as well as tea. Didn't try gym, restaurant or bar. Bed was very big, two big singles pushed together.

The bathroom extractor didn't work and then it did, maybe there was a switch for it that we used... or didn't. TV was sloping slightly, didn't bother me, but my wife noticed.

Booked a room with tower view paid extra and was greeted by the tree in front of the tower. Annoyed

Location! It was the perfect base for exploring York.

Would have liked air conditioning, but fortunately, it wasn't too hot.

The location was within walking distance from all historic locations. Breakfasts were plentiful and delicious. The staff was accommodating and professional.

The website and booking.com website are misleading about parking accommodations. Though the websites state no reservations for parking are available, they did not specifically state that parking was on a first come, first serve basis. Our room heard a lot of early morning road traffic noise.

I thought the property was a like expensive but understandable as it’s located in prime tourist area.

We had room service on both evening we we were there food was excellent and the lady that brought it the room was lovely she rang up about 10 mins after she had delivered it to us to make sure everything was ok for us. I think her name was Donna so 5 ***** 😊for room service .

In my sons room (218 ) just as you walk in the carpet had come away from carpet joining strip at the door which led to some small nails to stick up my son caught his toe on one when putting the trays outside the room (from room service ) we forgot mention it before we left as we had catch our train back . Except for that we both had a lovely stay just what we needed .

Check in was nice and quick, the chocolates left in room for anniversary were much appriciated

The amount of dust in the room! Top of tv, mirror, picture frame, glass table and bed frame were thick with dust! This is common housekeeping for hotels, Shouldn't have been that dusty, room 317

The beds were comfortable and breakfast was excellent Room good for doing hair and make up Large enough bath sheets

Only received water on the first day, this was not replenished Couldn’t check in until 4pm

We had our grandchildren with us and the room was very cramped. No where to hang towels and not a lot of storage space.

Wait of 45mins between placing our order and being served our evening meal with no explanation or apology.

The room was in need of upgrade, bubbling wallpaper, everything was very dated Location was fantastic close to everything we needed Breakfast had lots of choice no complaints

The room was very dated, for the price we paid we expected a lot better then a dated room, the wallpaper was bubbling and in some places peeling off the walls.

Valet parking was well arranged, friendly staff.

When you offer a breakfast till 11am, one would expect that all breakfast items would be fresh and available. There were no pastries or croissants and the staff had to be alerted to this. Also buffet items looked tired. Sink in bathroom did not drain properly.

The staff were friendly and the location was perfect.

The room was tired and dated compared to the majority of other Hilton hotels that I have stayed in. We were also woken early by workers and scaffolding being set up just outside our window. We were not told about the works being carried out so it was slightly frustrating.
