Our first trip to Townsville for decades and so pleased we stayed here. Great facilities Great location Great price Great people They were dog friendly and welcoming to our Toy Cavoodle The Rugby League final was on the main reception TV and both teams were well catered for and supported We will be back here again

Compared to other pet friendly motels, The Robert Towns is top notch. Clean. Friendly staff. Our pooch was happy.

An upgrade to the bathroom would be nice - but it in no way effected the standard of our stay.

Hi. Well our stay was not the best. I booked a Twin Room (pet friendly) and got a standard room. When we went to go to bed there was only a bittom and top sheet....the small throw in the cupboard did not cover the whole bed... I looked to contact someone but reception closed and the greeting letting said only ring the number in case of emergency??. Anyway we slept cold that night. You need to know this.

Upstairs room

Rooms were clean and comfortable. The children especially thought the chocolates on the towels were great!

The bed and pillows were comfy.

Staff were great but the TV remote didn't work. The coffee cups had rings in them and there are only approx 30 car parks for 50 rooms. I had to park out 9n the Street and lug everything g up in 2 goes. The bathroom had mould inside the shower door. I was very disappointed.

Didn’t stay the night, checked in and based on the look of the room and feeling of the hotel we decided to check out and seek another accomodation, still paid full price.

Lication & pool were good. Busy facility. Parking - first in first served

Internet was very patchy. No solution / answer from reception- fell on deaf ears.

I liked the proximity to the City, Restaurants and Pubs. The pool and BBQ area was good also.

I didn't like the lack of water pressure in the sink in the bathroom or the noise the tap in the shower made. Also the room we booked seemed to have changed from next to the pool to upstairs.

The very mini sized fridge. No bins. No bowls for eating purposes. Mould on the ceiling bathroom. Old Maccas rubbish located underneath beds. No security screens on windows for privacy, piece of mind or ventilation.

parking not enough parking. some guest had to park on the street and in Townsville that is not ideal. The rooms where on old and no screen on bathroom window. ok for a quick cheapish over night stay.

Lovely people working there! Very helpful and kind, above all the receptionist, V, really professional and going the extra mile to make the best of our stay and help us with a small issue we had.

I came to Townsville for medical treatment & ALL the staff bent over backwards to make my stay as comfortable as possible. The room was spotless, the aircon nice & cool.
