Room 7 was great, restrooms were close, kitchen was well equipped. Location was just where i needed to be. Tried booking tonight for the 27 - 30th Nov but all days were not available, pity

This was a great guest house to stay at that ticked all the boxes. It was very quiet and relaxing. Staff were friendly, attentive and accommodating. The bed was really comfortable and the room had lovely cross ventilation, a small fridge and a table. Shared facilities were spacious and very clean.
Breakfast provided was filling. Location was walking distance to the Strand and the CBD and internet was fast. What else? Ah, price was good value for money.

Travelled with my elderly father, the accommodation was clean, comfortable and very quiet. No frills etc... but met our needs. Breakfast was continental, cereal, bread, juice and spreads.

Staff were friendly and helpful when it came to magnetic island suggestions. Loved the fresh orange juice in the breakfast basket. Fresh clean towels on both days. Location was great.
Smell in the bedroom. Very soft pillows and no option for extras. Slightly outdated.

Smooth check-in. Clean and well organised kitchen and other facilities. Only a short walk to town, Strand and goat train that leads up to Castle Hill lookout. Comfortable queen bed, table, chairs, bedside lamps, ceiling fan and air-conditioning. Bar fridge in the room is a huge advantage. Good taste of old Aussie B&B charm that is hard to find in this age.
In tropical weather ants of all sizes are everywhere especially when living space is closer to ground level. Keep all food and drinks in the fridge.

Amazing value for money, very cute room and lodge. Lovely welcome message on office board as the office was closed. very well equipped kitchen for the price. Breakfast pack was a nice bonus.

Location is perfect. Staff are very friendly and approachable. I like hearing the birds in the trees outside.
Air conditioning could be a little better, but I am visiting in peak summer.

Bit tough walking up hill back from The Strand on the extra hot days, but that wouldn't put me off staying again
