outside - building work , wasn't clear where the hotel was. I didn't realise they did food in the evening or I would have dined there with the kids

We stayed in a private room with 2 sets of bunk beds. The space was a bit tight but was manageable with three teenagers in tow. Overall, it was a great spot for a family on a budget but it was tight quarters.

The location was excellent. We had a 4 bed room it was a little too small for a family of 4. The bathroom was clean but very cramped. Bed was comfy but only 1 flat pillow which i has to fold in half. The staff weren’t too friendly. But overall i was happy and will stay again.

Misinformation on how to reserve a bed. This is my second time there, my first time was in February, I contacted the receptionbin order to reserve a bottom bed and they said that they could not guarantee the bed I pleased and I should request it at reception. Ok, I checked in early and managed to get the bottom bed I like due to my backache and cannot climb to the top bunk. Since I was told to request the bed at reception, on my second time I did not contacted the reception, instead I went there and requested a bottom bed, then the receptionist asked me if I requsaid that online prior to my check in. Hellooo.... I was told that I should go to reception and request it. The outcome? My first nite I had to sleep on the top bed, while so many bottom beds were reserved with the name and book reference of other guests. This was not cool at all. I went back to reception and requested one of staff to move me to a bttom bed and she thankfully did it. So, I have another reservation for June, this will be my third time there, it is all paid already and the first thing I requested at reception for my next booking was a bottom bunk on the first floor, again the confusion comes up, firstly the staff who made my booking said that he could not guarantee it for me, even tho upstairs in the bedroom I was stayin there were 2-3 beds reserved. I wonder why other guests can reserve the bed but when it is me there is always an issue. Then I went down stairs next day to speak to a different staff to reserve the bottom bunk for me, and she said, "yeah no problem, I left a note here on your booking" helloo??? Can I reserve a bed or not? Why one staff say no and other say yes? If no means no why other guests managed to reserve their beds.

staff were exceptionally friendly. the room was lovely and big with plenty of plug sockets.

if I was to pick something it would be that the mattresses are too hard for me

Great location! 5min by walk to the Oxford Circus metro station and also you can reach best shopping areas by walk. The rooms and bathroom were very clean. The staff was very friendly.

There wasn't socket in the bathroom for hair drying. I had to do it inside the room but had problems with a woman who was sleeping all day long :D So you have to go to the basement floor to dry your hair which is very inconvenient when you are in a hurry.
