We only live 15 miles away but it was a great gathering place for our family to be on the lake and also enjoy all the events Clear Lake has to offer!!

This is always a fun place to stay! Our family enjoyed it very much as it is convenient and homey. A nice sign and gift basket greeted us when we came into the home which was so thoughtful!!!

Generally as described. Great viewing of the lake. Decks are nice for relaxing at the end of the day or watching the sunrise. Worked fine for us. Bathrooms on the small side and very short toilet heights could present problems for older guests. Large living areas with lots of windows are a bonus.

We couldn’t have asked for a more accommodating host for our stay at Clear Lake! So friendly, very responsive, accommodating to all our needs during a very eventful family filled weekend. Our host even greeted us with some snacks and drinks! Our stay couldn’t have been more perfect on a weekend full of family time. We’ll definitely be back, thank you so much for having us!

It was great. Right on the lake. Has a dock we could fish from. Silly fish weren't biting. Great kitchen. Dining and living room great. Decks were great. Has a grill. So we were able to grill. Lovely home. Would go again.

Property was in great condition and the property manager was super responsive. Great stay.

The house was very nice, clean and had everything we needed. Awesome neighborhood and right on the lake. The private dock was awesome. Really nice to just sit on one of the decks and relax.

We came for a quick family getaway, and it was perfect! The house is extremely clean, super convenient location, and outstanding hospitality from the host. We started every morning with our coffee on the deck overlooking the amazing view of the lake. We took in a show at The Surf, which was walkable, and AMAZING. Relaxed on a pontoon for a day, which was super easy to rent from Clear Lake Boat rentals. The town has tons of great eating spots and fun bars to visit for the day. We will be back again!

There are so many things that made this property not worth what they ask for it. -You are given one key, so if somebody leaves and takes the key the others at the house need to either stay until they return or leave the house unlocked with your belongings there. -The upstairs room has no privacy due to there not being a door -The doors to the bedroom on the main floor do not close completely -There were spiderwebs in most of the rooms and lots of little spiders in the upstairs room -No blinds or curtains on the windows facing the water -There was dried food stuck to some of the cooking utensils -One of the stove burners had a pile of burned food under it -The vacuum canister was completely full and needed to be emptied before being able to use it -Windows were too difficult to open for fresh air -Too difficult to get a boat to the dock due to a large floating platform in the way the belongs to the neighbors on the left -Visible rodent trap on the side of the house -Had to empty the dehumidifiers almost daily (after figuring out what they were since we have never had to use one before) -Not offering a refund for cancelations should have been a red flag. Maybe we are just nit-picking but for the price paid we believe we have every right to do so.

We definitely enjoyed our stay in Clear Lake!

The property was as described and we had a wonderful stay.

We had a lovely time using this as our home base as we spent time with family in the area. The location is perfect for downtown Clear Lake excursions. We enjoyed fishing off the dock, golfing nearby, boating with friends, eating out and playing games at the spacious dining room table.

This is exactly what we were hoping for and it exceeded our expectations. The grandkids enjoyed the dock! Easy check in and check out. Would highly recommend.

Nice place

Last year, my parents sold their lake house and this was the first time back for all of us since the sale. The house was roomy with exceptional lake views - we celebrated a 23rd and 87th birthday, and a 63 year anniversary - everything worked out well. Thank you

This was our first vacation in which we rented a house, and our experience was very good. We so enjoyed being on the lake with access to the water through a private dock. The house itself was very roomy with plenty of space for us and our 2 adult kids and 1 teenager. The kitchen was amazing and allowed us to prepare our meals easily. The landlords were so very kind and provided a good deal of advice for local attractions and went so far as to let us borrow some water toys. We especially enjoyed the privacy of the balcony and spent every morning drinking coffee and watching the activity on the lake. It truly was a week to recharge our batteries. We can't recommend this rental highly enough, as the owners (Laura and Lynn) made every effort to make our vacation special.

A great rental all the way around, we loved it.

The place was very enjoyable with a great view of the lake and fantastic sunsets. The only thing I didn’t care for were the scary steps down to the lake. Other than that we enjoyed our stay but I felt the home was too high priced but maybe that’s what rentals go for in that area.

This lake home is lovely. The home is located right on the water and close to the city center. The home has everything you need. The stairs to the lake are tricky.

Very homey and everything you need to enjoy lake Life! Close to everything! Our family loved it here. Couple downsides but not owners fault. No where to put trailer for boat. We should have made arrangements head of time. Stairs up to house are pretty steep but a really good workout 😉. Well worth it to have the access.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this charming character home! It was older but very clean and had everything we needed for a terrific stay. Location was lovely! Quiet and right on the water. We rode our bikes downtown and enjoyed the waterfront deck. Laura was wonderful to us as well and we’d highly recommend this vacation rental. We would stay here again.

This was such a cute and well maintained home right on the lake! Very peaceful and relaxing, clean and updated home. The icing on the cake was how accommodating and friendly the owner was! She made it SO easy from check in, to making sure we were comfortable, and allowing us a later check out. Would recommend 100%!

Great space. Right on North Shore Drive. 10 blocks to the Surf. 1.5 miles to downtown. Fantastic view of the Clear Lake. We used the grill, stove, and fireplace.The Tri Clear Lake Triathlon runners went in front of the house.Only concern. The bathrooms are tight but very adequate.We will reutrn.

We enjoyed our stay at this Clear Lake home. The view and being next to the lake was wonderful! The owners were very easy to communicate with and check-in was easy. The living room upstairs and down, and dining room were very spacious. We ate several meals on the deck overlooking the water. The bedroom upstairs was small with lower ceilings, but we had enough space for sleeping 4 adults and one baby in a pack and play. The 2 bathrooms were adequate but tiny. We loved the cute downtown and shops. Due to Covid, we cooked our meals "at home" and didn't try the restaurants. It was a nice get-away which took the place of a longer family vacation! We enjoyed renting a boat one day, and taking the sunset cruise on the paddleboat one evening.

Really nice house layout in a great location on Clear Lake. My son and I enjoyed fishing from the private dock, and the gift basket upon arrival was unexpected and a really nice touch! Only issue we had was locating the property (may be my issue), but couldn't find address on VRBO and also didn't have phone # to property manager to get address. We found it though and thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Would highly recommend!

Great spot on the lake, house is older and there is little space between houses, no yard. Stairs to lake are in bad shape, not recommended for elderly or small children. Very clean. House is small for bedrooms and bathrooms, 2nd bedroom is in an attic like space, you have to duck and very hot. Decks looking over lake are awesome. Everything is provided in house.

The house was perfect for a quick get away at the end of summer. Kitchen had everything we needed. It was nice to park our car in the garage. Having a washer and dryer was super convenient as well. We loved the location and the owners were so kind. We didn't go to any shops or restaurants due to covid, but there seemed to be plenty to do if you are inclined. We also enjoyed renting a boat and lounging on the city beach near by.
