The design of the pod in the landscape is architectural perfection. Add to that the amenities, the staff and the plethora of unexpected small touches and you have a bucket list stay.

Everything. Best value super luxury in Namibia. The tranquility is amazing. The staff is perfect both helpful and attentive yet never intrusive. The desert whisper has just the right amount of everything.

It’s an exquisite little getaway with breath-taking views, every modern comfort your heart can desire and pure luxury in the middle of the harsh landscape. Definitely a “bucket list” place to visit. The perfect place to enjoy beautiful Namibia as though from the comfort of your own home. The hosts have left nothing to be desired. We will definitely be back soon!

The staff have to prepare meals in the kitchen of the pod. It becomes a little cramped and invasive at times, especially because they occupy half of the living space for over 2 hours. The guard at Namib Desert Lodge gate begged for “financial aid” to futher his studies as we were checking out. Highly unprofessional in my opinion. Some of the kitchen appliances were a little tricky to operate. Clearer instruction should be given on how to use these, seeing that you have to cook your own meals. This, however, was only a minor issue. The food was fabulous, otherwise.
