If you want to have a few days of piece and quit, this is the place! The owner was really helpfull and kind for us. The pool-area is awesome, and the water is heated. There is three lovely quardian dogs, we loved them!

The building is huge and is build like a old age castle style building. The room was clean and had everything we needed along with wifi.

Quirky place, Nicely located on edge of desert/ national park. Good view from the communal pool area.

Could do with a few up grades to linen, towels, extra blankets, no cleaning clothes. No real view from the apartment, outside seating area

Apartment needed a bit of updating. cutlery and crockery very basic. Wi-Fi a problem . no hooks for mosquito net . No tv but not a problem for us.

Micheal’s hosting skills were excellent, he was kind, supportive, helpful and easily reachable and he welcomed us like family. Micheal made Gut Richthofen feel like a home away from home.

I loved the scenery, how rich in serenity the environment was, I love the apartment interior, Gut Richthofen architectural design, it’s Royal Palace themed aesthetic. And most importantly I absolutely loved the dogs!

it’s a wonderful oasis in the middle of the desert - fabulous pool. close enough to Swakopmund but away from the (Christmas) hectic of the town truly a must stay if you are touring Namibia
