I really liked the atmosphere, very easy to come and go. The manager is taking care of things and people and creates a warm and relaxed feeling to the place. Location is good as the railway and bus stations are close but not too close. I staid here three different times and it was a good base for exploring Colombo and Sri Lanka.

Staff are lovely and very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast is nice and the beds are really comfortable. Shower was hot. There is a balcony and a couple of spaces to sit and chill.

The area appears a little quiet of people on a night, but as a woman alone I had no problems.

The owners are super friendly, they help me a lot in my trip to Sri Lanka. It is a good place to start or finish your trip around the country. The location is perfect, walking distance to the train station and bus station.

Love the lady host, super nice and serving,she took me in at 6am, give me sim card for free, guys in hostel also super friendly. Lady makes breakfast every morning, making sure that everyone has eaten. You can buy cold water from the fridge and wash clothes for 350 lkr

Booking says check-in is 24 hrs, but when I arrived, the lady was sleeping and told me that Booking had wrong info. Had to pay a difference for the time until check in, which was equivalent of price for one day

Loud trains that go buy but for the price you pay I didn’t mind

- The checkin and checkout times displayed on the website are not the same as those displayed at the hotel. - I asked if I could check out at 4pm, and I got a response that my request was approved with no extra charge. However, when I arrived, the staff asked me to check out at 11am or pay for a half-day to stay until 4pm. I think it is better if the hotel or Booking can give some explanation?

Suitable for people who take a short break for a few hours or a day close from the city center

old building and narrow small room and one bathroom for the rooms you need to arrive this hostel via cross train station and there are some homeless there, they are kind people but be careful in general

Great location and very hospitable hostess! The room has air conditioning and breakfast every morning. If I'm in Colombo again, I'll stay here.

It is very close to the main train station. For me it was the best place to spend the night before taking the train to Kandy.

Place is in a walking distance from the fort railway station. The Aunty who takes care of the place does an exceptional job taking care of the visitors and I really did feel like home there. Facilities are well maintained and and sufficient. Would recommend to any traveller who wish to find a safe and nice place to stay under a low budget..

Very sweet lady who are really concern about her guests. The included breakfast was great. And the hot shower was nice too.

Close to train station, 5 mins walk from Colombo fort Station. Auntie is very nice, breakfast was simple and good. Basic hostel good stay overall.

Location is close to a garbage dumpster, and it smells outside the building. There was no soap in the dorms' inside toilet.

Close to the city, main train station, markets, supermarkets, also to the temples. Breakfast is included, shower with hot water, kind and helpful old lady, always prepared tea or water in the kitchen for free, washing machine ready for use for a small amount, definitely I can recommend if I compare price & quality of service.

The Hostel iis really close to the train station, each a train, which is going around a hostel you hear very well.(noisy sound).
