brilliant location and lovely rooms with everything you could need. surrounded by lovely restaurants and loved the old fashioned pub across the road also next to the beautiful cathedral.

there is a lot of noise till the pubs shut but didn’t bother us at all, was very warm all night but again the temperature outside can’t be helped

Very noisy, bar next door had loud music along with bins being emptied late Windows were skylights, difficult to open and close

Good location.

Fairly noisy, backs on to a pub. Had to phone help line to find room inside the building. Room was somewhat tired and could have done with redecoration because quite a few marks on the wall, TV was a 22" computer screen type size which was tiny from a distance.

Excellent location, 5 min walk from car park and 5 min walk to the empire where I was attending a gig. In city centre

Razor left in shower so was it actually cleaned? Room was so hot I ended up sleeping on the floor, fan didn't help. If window left open you could hear the cathedral chiming every hour through the night plus continued crashing of bottles being tipped somewhere. I did close the window but then the room was too hot. I paid for a double room as my partner 6 ft 3 but it was actually a queen double.

A bit noisy, not enough towels, toilet paper when we arrived, but called and they brought some to the room. No hairdryer. Skylight needs cleaning

Very compact and lack of natural light. We knew from previous reviews that the rooms weren’t overly generous in size, however we hadn’t realised quite how small the bed would actually be (definitely a small double - maybe 4ft) and so made sleeping difficult. Our room also only had a skylight window with a blind that couldn’t be opened so it felt very dark/gloomy and added to the cramped feeling. Would also recommend the newer Salt Lane car park over Barracks (not only cheaper but felt less dodgy and more secure)

the level of cleanliness was unacceptable. the bed was not comfortable. the windows didn’t shut away street noise. the room & bathroom were smaller & different than the picture.

Great Value for money - clean, good facilities. Position in Central City has double edged - fabulous to have 1min walk from night out. noisy until late.

A very central location near all the attraction and plenty of bars and restaurants on our doorstep

No heating only a small fan and as it was a very cold weekend we wish we had brought an extra duvet with us
