service not good can’t speak English just only Chinese If you this hotel just for hk or Chinese if you not just not come

the location is great in Dongmen, its affordable and the bed was huge!

we actually had a cockroach in the room… the staff at the desk did not speak English very well so when we called with a question instead of asking her manager she just hung up.

The beds are super soft and comfortable. I stayed in the queen sized room. Though it is pretty small in size it is cozy and comfortable for a so traveler. The room is equipped with basic necessities (Tea, coffee, kettle, hairdryer, soaps, shampoo, shower gel etc). It was a comfortable stay overall.

The accommodation is good value for money. So nothing disappointed me.

Location is very convenient, close to the Dongmen walk street. The bed is comfortable. The room details look good, good value for money.

The TV signal was weak, not clear enough.

The location was nice. An easy walk from either of two Metro stations, in a vibrant shopping and eating district apparently frequented by locals, not tourists. The abundance and variety and price of take-away food was fantastic! There was also a grocery store about a block and a half away. My room was very clean, and the bathroom was great. Nice modern fixtures, superior water pressure. The staff seemed friendly and agreeable, although not much English was spoken. The free laundry room on the premises was handy. Room cleaned everyday, including supplying new bottles of water, coffee and chocolates. There were nice folk-art touches on the walls and floor of my room, which made it seem homey and friendly.

The lighting was dreadful. It was so dim in my room that i had to use a flashlight to read my map and guidebook. Good thing i had one. Bathroom light too dim to put on make-up. Get better lighting! The Dongmen Colour Hotel was a bit hard to find, despite well-intentioned directions from the hotel. I walked by it twice without seeing it. The elevator entrance is set back from the street, up about a level. The hotel sign is up high, at about the 4th level like the hotel, over a sign for a different hotel. People on the street tried hard to be helpful, but did not seem to have heard of this place.
