Benvenuti nella "Walk to the River House", è così che a mia figlia piace chiamare la nostra casa. Abbiamo preparato un appartamento con due camere da letto splendidamente rinnovato, un bagno inferiore completo. Ha una cucina completa con tutto il necessario per cucinare, uno spazio di lavoro Business, sala da pranzo, soggiorno e ingresso, un portico esterno e altalena per sedersi e rilassarsi.
Questo spazio si trova a 3 km dalle Cascate del Niagara e da grandi attrazioni come Maid of the Mist e Cave of the Winds, nonché una deliziosa cucina locale, negozi fantastici, attività per famiglie e trasporti pubblici. Siamo in una posizione davvero comoda.
Siamo nuovi a casa, anche se ospitiamo visitatori da luglio 2016 con AirBnB. Abbiamo oltre 65 recensioni, ci qualifichiamo come super host a causa del nostro status a cinque stelle. Siamo decisamente orgogliosi della nostra casa e siamo molto amichevoli con i visitatori.
Siamo situati in uno dei quartieri più belli delle Cascate, è tranquillo e sicuro con meravigliosi vicini. Abbiamo alberi grandi e belli che fiancheggiano entrambi i lati della strada e nel cortile.
A pochi passi lungo la strada, c'è una pista ciclabile / pedonale che costeggia il fiume Niagara superiore e vi porta direttamente alle cascate. C'è anche una fermata dell'autobus per i viaggi in città situata all'angolo tra la 58th e Buffalo Avenue.
Siamo molto amici degli animali e ci piacerebbe che il tuo familiare potesse accompagnarti durante le tue vacanze, consentiamo animali di piccola taglia (meno di 25 libbre), ma controlla prima con noi per l'approvazione e vi è un costo aggiuntivo di $ 25 / animale per il primo giorno e $ 20 al giorno dopo.

Location was great! Neighborhood was nice and good for walking the dog. Property owner was responsive when items were needed for the rental. The entire rental needs a deep clean and some more seating for the TV room. Maybe a few upgrades to the furniture, appliances, kitchen ware etc.

The house is older which would be acceptable. Once we started settling in, it looked like someone was living there & they had not cleaned prior to our arrival. Due to our late arrival, we had nowhere else & had to stay one night. The next morning, we contacted owner who was apologetic but had to find another place to stay. We have requested refund and have not heard any response. I hope this can be resolved & the owner corrects the issues.

The neighborhood was quiet and we did feel safe. The property was horrible! Nothing was as it was presented. When we arrived we had to knock the cob webs down so we could get in the door! The furniture in the online picture was not the furniture in the unit. Not a big desk but the furniture that was there was worn and very uncomfortable! One love seat and one chair in the livingroom,one person had to add it on a kitchen chair to watch tv. Oh yeah there was an office chair we could have used but it was so dirty and covered in hair we just pushed it aside! The fridge was filthy and window ledge and air conditioner full of cob webs and bugs! Such a shame to have a place in this location to be so undercared for! No checkout communication given. Previous reviews very good is only reason we choose this place! VRBO needs to fact check their hosts!

On Monday before heading out for our trip on Tuesday, I received a call from the property owner letting us know that he would like to move us from this property (that I had reserved) to the property on Orchard Parkway. He had discovered that the hot water heater had gone out and he didn't think he had enough time to get it repaired before we arrived the next day. He was willing do this at no additional charge to us and the other property was 3 rooms instead of 2 and we had the full property to ourselves.
This was fine with us and he provided all the new information to me. The house must be newly acquired as I couldn't find it on Vrbo but through Zillow I was about to find that it had recently sold. The home was built in the 1920's but has had several updates to it. It is located on a quiet street lined with trees. It is 2 stories, 1 bath, 3 bedrooms, living room, dining room, kitchen and sunroom. I believe there is a basement and an attic area but these were not accessible to us.
The one bathroom is located upstairs. And following most homes of that period it isn't ADA accessible if this is a need for a family. The home does have AC which works well but you will be froze on the 1st floor if you are one who needs it cold to sleep. There are ceiling fans in 2 of the upstairs bedrooms which helped with the air flow. The place sleeps 7 but we only needed 3 of the beds. Each of the ones we used were comfortable and clean. Reached my limit but could say more.

This was a nice apartment in a quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed being so close to the Falls.

Cut our stay by one night as the place was not comfortable for my husband and me and our two grandchildren and our puppy.
To our opinion, The place needs much improvement and care.
Perhaps we had too high of expectations from an VRBO listing with a relatively high rating.
On a plus side, David, the owner, was fast of addressing some of the issues we reported.

The main bed sheets were dirty with hair on them. The spare bed was just as scary. I slept on the chair and my friend slept on the couch. We left a day early. Certainly not worth the price.

Front porch had dirty furniture, cushions, bottom step needed repair, tv did not work, tried password several times but couldn't get it to work, wash cloths thin and stained, bed small and it squeaked when you just turned or got in bed. The good thing it was less than ten minutes to Niagra Falls. We left a day early even though we paid for an additional night.

Nice place
The place was nice and close to Niagara Falls! The only thing is, there is no wifi (or if there is, it doesn’t match the instructions), and the owner wasn’t great at responding. Other than that, it was a nice stay!

It is impossible to sleep with the air conditioning on, as the noise is unsustainable. It's not worth the price I paid.

You get what you pay for
Niagara Falls is Beautiful. We wanted a cheap place to stay and that’s what it was. Nothing fancy. Definitely bring your own towels . Bathroom is kinda gross. It’s old. It was a place to sleep... The owner is friendly.

We had a great stay. David was very helpful and we ate an Italian restaurant that he recommended that was delicious. Overall a great stay.

Convenient but needs updating
The house is super close to Niagara Falls and in a safe neighborhood. It is an older house but it’s clean. The bath towels seemed as old as the house and there were no washcloths or soap. Some light fixtures were only bulbs with no cover and some of the blinds needed replacing. All relatively easy and inexpensive fixes, some that had been addressed in previous reviews but not fixed.

Really needs a good clean and update
Firstly communication - the owner sent us a document with information, mainly rules about our stay and requirements for our stay. We made contact asking about transportation from the station or taxi numbers. Didn't really help just said taxis are waiting. This wasn't correct at the time we arrived but Amtrak ordered one. When we asked about entry code about a week before we got "2 days". We didn't have it as we were travelling and requested it and got the rules document again & no code. We finally got info a couple of hours before we got there luckily we had access to wifi.The property is nice and spacious but needed a clean and updated. E.G. your socks got filthy walking about and you have to remove shoes (rules). The kitchen was grubby, under the sink smelled of damp. As it was empty I wondered if this was a known fault. The accommodation sleeps 5 but there were 7 coat hangers. Plates are a mis match, looks like left overs from other sets, some plastic and paper. We never got 2 of the rings to work on the hob. The bathroom was dirty, full of hair in the sink trap. The towels were small, thin had large holes. The bed was uncomfortable and creaked, if 1 moved the other woke up. There was little information available to guests, we left bus timetables behind. The house is not really near anything, we're used to European letting where folks leave essential supplies, but we would have paid for milk, water, bread and a few beers given our late arrival and no transport. It says coffee is available and an assortment of teas, we found one tea bag, we had our own. Overall you got the feeling that you were just a money tree and needs weren't considered. Top tip don't use the kettle, the water tasted like mould, we used a pan.

Check in issues
Pillows and towels need to be upgraded. I would recommend contacting the owner a few hours before check in; we couldn’t get in until 5pm. We had to wait outside for 40 min waiting for the owner. Great location.

Good location in a quiet neighborhood.
David was a wonderful host. Great communication prior to our visit, and he was very helpful once we arrived with lots of brochures in the apartment as well as personally providing local restaurant recommendations.
The apartment is about 3 miles from the Niagra Falls Park. An easy drive and the Falls are fabulous with lots of areas to view the falls and walk around the park. Plenty of parking in the area made it easy to access the park.

David was always available if we needed anything. House was perfect for my family. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. I would recommend this property to anyone who is in the upstate NY area on vacation.

Cozy, quaint & quiet
David was welcoming & accomodating. The street was beautiful & quiet. It’s a short Uber ride from the Falls & tourist attractions. We had a great time & lovely experience. Thank you!

Very welcoming with Easy access to Niagara Scenic Parkway
David was so kind as to provide all the basics. He also provided good advice for our visit to the Falls in NY and Canada. close to the entrance to the Scenic Parkway we were at Niagara Falls State Park in minute. The house was clean with plenty of room for us.
