It was a beautiful log cabin with everything you need, very secluded and private, it was just what we wanted.

Amazing stay. Such attention to detail. Beautiful place. Really was the perfect trip away for my partner's birthday and our puppy bulldogs first trip. We will definitely book again.

It was all perfect

Beautiful gardens. Our children loved watching the rabbits play in the bottom field. The lodge was gorgeous, warm with heated floors and central heating. The bed was really comfortable, beating our own at home. We were made to feel so welcome, despite being an hour early for check in, Edward was very friendly. We had towels, bedding, home comforts, a BBQ ready to use and the hot tub had been cleaned especially and was kept warm.

There was absolutely nothing to dislike about our stay.

we loved everything about the place it was so quiet all you could hear was birds, the place is spotless and had absolutely everything you could think of in the kitchen the whole place had everything you needed and the hosts are lovely and welcoming, hot tub was amazing sorted my bad neck out

the only thing I didn’t like was the fact I had to go home and back work the next day wish we stayed longer

Was perfect

I absolutely loved our stay at Badgers Wood this weekend, I really didn’t want to leave. The cabin was so cosy and warm and considering they allow dogs to stay, I’ve never know anywhere to be so clean! The bed was so comfy, the blankets were warm, the towels were soft and everything was just perfect. I loved the decor and all the little touches around the place, right from the cushions with badgers on the front, to the tissue box cover with foxes on it. It just finished off the woodland/log cabin feel perfectly. The underfloor heating meant that we were never cold and the the heavy curtains ensured you had a good nights sleep. There was a lovely private woodland walk for the dogs and a large area for them to roam, directly outside of the lodge. There were plenty of pubs nearby and you were only a 5 minute drive from anything you needed. I honestly felt so at home and comfortable during my stay, I really didn’t want to leave. The owners made sure there was everything you could possibly need available and the hot tub was just a bonus. What better than chilling out in a warm tub at night whilst amongst the wildlife and trees. I felt so relaxed. The thought that has gone into making it the perfect stay for visitors has really shown as it just felt like home from home. I would definitely visit again!

The only thing I didn’t like about the property was the fact that it’s not mine and I can’t live there :)

Really friendly owners (and dog!). Peaceful area but close to the town so you’re not in the middle of nowhere. The cabin was spotless! Underfloor heating is incredible, especially after a walk round the farm. The hot tub was wonderful. We will definitely be visiting again.

Hosts were brilliant. Spotlessly clean. Covid secure. Amazing location. Hot tub was wonderful and felt like you were out in the middle of nowhere.

The property was so quiet and beautifully presented set back and very picturesque the owners were very welcoming and I couldn’t fault the place at all it was comfortable clean and catered for everything we were looking for it’s one of the best lodges I have stayed in and will defiantly be booking again also I fully recommend the hot tub was amazing and the cat very cute and friendly we overall really enjoyed our stay and want to thank badgers wood for their hospitality an amazing property they have
