The staff was very nice. We arrived before check-in time so our luggage was brought in our room by the staff while we could go discovering Kawaguchiko. The room was clean and the futons were comfortable.

The bicycles they provide (not for free) are absolutely terrible. I think they are originally electrical bicycles but the electrical battery has been removed so the bicycle does not move even on a flat road. I strongly recommend to rent with another shop. Also you cannot get the bicycle at earlier than 9am. I booked a twin room for myself, it was a bunk bed and unfortunately they had only prepared the upper bed so I had to sleep on the upper bed which is very inconvenient (especially as I was used to sleep in dormitories and I was looking forward very much for having some comfort with this room). Also there was only a very tiny window in the room with the bed stuck to it so I didn’t have natural light in the room. I found the price expensive for this room.

Fantastic little guesthouse, the person on reception could not have been more welcoming or helpful, sorting everything from luggage storage, to drying our shoes (after some torrential rain) to bike rental. Couldn't recommend highly enough. The room was clean, spacious and practical for what we needed, the kitchen was well equipped and large enough for all guests.

The guesthouse is merely 5 minutes walk from Kawaguchiko station which is really convenient. The room was spotless during my stay and it was quite spacious. Convenient stores like 7E and Lawson were also very near. I will definitely stay here again if I ever come back to Japan!

For a hostel, it’s remarkably well equipped. The room had a humidifier, toothbrush and towel provided. The toilets were clean and well maintained. We chose the tatami room, which was bigger than some of the hotels in Tokyo. Overall it was a very enjoyable stay.

It was great to be able to rent a bike at Orange Cabin for 1100 yen for the whole day. Plenty of hot water and pressure in the shower. Everything was very clean, organized and very quiet. They have this cool electric luggage lift that carries heavy bags upstairs and brings them down when you check out, via something like a miniature elevator shaft. My personal needs were responded to politely and in a very timely way, including getting me a thinner pillow for my neck. Less than a 5-minute walk from the train station.

Very close to attractions and shops, less than a 15 minute walk to Lake Kawaguchiko. Room was excellent and the futon was very warm and comfortable. Staff were all friendly and accommodating.

Great location, very near to Kawaguchiko station and convenient stores, restaurants. Very clean and nice facilities/amenities! Each floor has shared rest rooms. It's a very comfortable place to stay, feels like home.
