Property met our needs. We needed a large space due to the number of family members. The home provided a retreat since we were there for a funeral. Host was very considerate to allow us to check out a bit later. Thank you.

We really enjoyed this property, it was spacious, nicely furnished, had a well stocked kitchen, lovely master bedroom and interesting addition room which we really loved. The back deck is where we spent most of our time though, really comfy seating and nice views. We watched hawks flying around the cell tower near by and enjoyed it immensely. We highly recommend.

The house is bigger than it appears from the outside! 5 bedrooms AND 2 extra pull out couches in the living area. It has this adorable hanging bed/swing on the porch with fun twinkle lights. There is a basement (it's off limits), but even without using the basement there was more than enough space for our large group. The house is in a sweet neighborhood, close to downtown Winston Salem. The host was very accommodating and even provided some staple items in the fridge! Would certainly recommend!

Great home would highly reccommend

We had a group of 4 adults and 3 teenagers visiting Winston Salem for the Thanksgiving holiday. This property fit everyone comfortably and was in an ideal location for us. We were a short 5 minute walk to my brothers house, which is where we spent most of our time while in town. The property owner was very responsive to all of my questions leading up to our stay. Once we arrived, everything ran smoothly. All in all it was a great stay!

Nice place. Quiet neighborhood.. The Master suite was very nice and kitchen well-appointed. We appreciated some of the staples like eggs and milk that were provided The back porch was a great place to sit out and visit, especially with the hanging bed. The owner was available but not intrusive. We’ve already booked again for another Wake Forest occasion.

My experience with the property is just what we needed for time with family. The layout was perfect for our time together and had all the amenities we needed. Everyone had space and the master was a perfect for a restful sleep. The neighborhood was quiet and convenient to everything.

House was perfect for a reunion of my friend and me with families/ kids. Clean, spacious, more than enough sleeping room (we had 4 kids and 3 adults), and quiet spaces to tuck away and read or watch tv. We ventured to pilot mountain for the day and access was an easy 30 minute drive. House had all the necessary amenities - WI-FI, laundry, kitchen w all necessities. Evan welcomed us w a personalized greeting. Neighborhood felt very safe for my wife and I to take an evening stroll. Grocery and gas are within 5 minutes. Definitely made for a great weekend away. Got more than I payed for. Need an excuse to return to area and I will look to stay here. Family loved the home. Found out one grandchild knows a little about playing piano. Now two young family members want lessons. Life experiences when you least expect them. Plenty of comfortable room.

This was a wonderful house - very clean and spacious (there were six of us in town for a tennis tournament), convienently located, and the owner was very welcoming - communication was great. We especially loved the covered porch and daybed swing. Would definitely recommend staying here!

We stayed at this property for five nights. Evan had breakfast food and a bottle of wine waiting for us when we arrived, so nice. Property is very spacious, everyone had their own area to relax in. We would highly recommend this property.

This was the perfect property for us! The neighborhood was picturesque and the location was no more than 15 minutes from everywhere we needed to be. Our host, Evan, had breakfast items waiting for us in the fridge and a bottle of wine on the table! He was extremely accommodating and made sure our needs were met. We felt at home as soon as we arrived. This is the place to stay in the Winston Salem area!

The property was nice, had 5 br. which worked well for 10 ladies who came to town for a conference. It was nice to not be in three motel rooms but could visit easily. Evan, the owner was fantastic and provided personal welcome letter, instructions and even started us out with some breakfast food. All paper products included too (some barely give toilet paper for the first day). Highly recommend staying here. Fantastic back porch with wide swing and wind chimes.

this property was perfect for our group of 8 for a soccer tournament. It was only 15 minutes from the soccer complex and the house had everything we needed. It was in a really nice neighborhood and had all the amenities we needed

The property was great!! It’s in a quaint neighborhood, close to shopping and food. We stayed the week for a wedding, it was perfect for us to all be together and cook and hang out. Evan was very prompt with his responses. The back porch has a lovely bed swing. It was just a great stay!!

What a wonderful stay my family had at your beautiful house! It was a perfect place for visiting and gathering together after the memorial service for my father. We had four generations in the house...my mother, her children, her grandchildren, and her great grandchildren. And it was so joyful! The house was so comfortable and well appointed. Really quiet neighborhood an very friendly neighbors. We spent a small amount of time outside and everyone that walked by was very friendly.

We really enjoyed our brief stay at Evan's place. It is exactly as shown in the listing, and an extremely quiet location. We had 4 adults and two kids, and everyone had their own room and we had plenty of space to stretch out. My kids loved the tree swing in the front yard, and the adults started and ended our days on the back porch with coffee in the mornings and wine in the evenings.

My family and I enjoyed our stay here. I really loved the neighborhood and the overall location of the property. I definitely recommend this beautiful home and I will be booking again soon. Thank you to Mr. Evan, the host who made sure all accomodations were met.

We wanted to see our son over the Easter weekend and this was the perfect stay. There are 5 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms. The house was clearly originally a 1950’s style brick ranch but there is an addition on the back which just about doubled the size. Lots of updated open living and kitchen space - since we brought all food in due to the pandemic this was a plus. We were able to bring our dog-no fenced in yard but plenty of space to walk him including some open green space behind the house. My husband’s only complaint was that he was watching the Final Four and the “antenna TV” wasn’t always clear. That was the only time we watched TV so really a minor issue. Otherwise, very clean and well stocked, lots of space, quiet and good host communication. And super comfortable king sized bed in the master suite!

Everythung was great! Only thing we were slightly disappointed with is we saw in the original posting that there was a pool table game room area and apon arriving found that the basement was off limits. But this wasnt a huge deal as we had things planned to keep us busy. The house is in a great neighborhood and was very well taken care of. We were very happy to bring our dog as well this was a big plus! We will stay here again if we come back to the area.

We enjoyed the stay with family. The back porch swing bed was a bonus. Also the swing in the front from the big tree was the kiddos favorite. With musicians in family the piano brought some joy! Thank you!
