The room was a bit outdated but clean and comfortable bed.

This hotel is in an excellent location. The room was spacious. The staff at reception were welcoming and friendly.

Our room on the ground floor with a view of the car park was old and tired. The bed was really uncomfortable and we had to ask for extra pillows as there were only two thin ones on the bed. These were taken away the next day forcing us to have to ask again the second night. The bathroom had seen better days, the paint was peeling and although it was clean it was very worn. Such a shame to see this hotel which was once fabulous fall into this state. However we are aware the pandemic has hit hospitality hard and I’m sure once everything opens up again the owners might look at giving this once lovely hotel an uplift.

Bar food was good and the staff were friendly.

We asked for room service of tea and coffee as those options were not in the room.. and it arrived with no cups, sugar and only half pot of coffee
