The room, the location and the breakfast are all amazing!! My compliments go to Hassan for assistance before and during our stay. There were some hiccups caused holidays but he did do his best to help. Thank you! Recommend this hotel 100%

It's a shame about the lack of explanation about club benifits and lack of English speaking staff for such a huge brand. But I know COVID and labour holiday may have caused problems.

staff is unable to easily extend my stay by one day. I was told I’d either have to pay at the front desk which would charge me more, book another night on the booking app or extend my stay via the booking app. I attempted to extend via the booking app, but the hotel didn’t accept the extension. I had to book another day in the app separately while I was out and they were cleaning my room. upon my return I paid for the extra night, but then had 2 additional calls/visits to my room asking if I wanted to extend my stay for the day that I had just paid for. normally they’re good, but they really dropped the ball on this one.

The rooms were really nice, very big with huge windows and an amazing double bath with a great view of Shenzhen. The bed was very big and comfy with really nice sheets. Everything was clean. Overall a very nice and very big room.

The service we got was pretty poor. When we arrived and were checking in, one of the staff came out of an office to take a video of us on her phone. This is something we experience fairly often in Shenzhen but do not expect it from the hotel staff. We told the lady on reception, who just denied it. We also paid for the executive room with executive club lounge benefits. These were very disappointing - the description stated that: 1. there was welcome fruit provided - we didn't get this. 2. a 15% discount on room service - we tried to order room service and told it wasn't available. 3. Happy hour with "exquisite snacks and alcoholic drinks from 6-8pm daily" - The lounge didn't serve alcohol at all, despite there being alcoholic drinks on the menus there - the lady said they stopped serving alcohol in February. 4. a late check out is available, until 4pm - when we inquired we were offered a late check out but only a hour later than normal. The woman on reception also overcharged us twice - she switched two of the numbers around when we paid for the rooms and also when returning our deposit. It wasn't a huge amount either time but the fact it happened twice made us a bit suspicious. When we messaged the hotel they said they would give us a refund, but we are still waiting for it nearly a week later. Overall, the room was really nice and I would maybe stay there again but the executive benefits were pretty much non existent (we had a free coffee and a biscuit) and the service from the staff was very disappointing. We stayed there to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday and it was a bit of a let down.

Spacious room. Close enough to the CBD. Strong water pressure in the shower. They kindly gave me late check out, as I needed a few extra hours to get some work done. Much appreciated.

Construction on the street below went through out the night. It was audible even though I was on the 22nd floor. The curtains did not block out light effectively as it did not reach the ground. So as much as the bed was comfortable, i did not have a great sleep.

The room amenities and location are great, another highlight was their special welcoming that I could totally feel how the team treated the guests. The concierge team, hskp teaming were pleasing:) as well the girl checked me in from FO team she was lovely.

During the c/o, I asked the lady from reception that if how many days it might take approx for the deposit back to my bank account. Specially mentioned to her that my bank card was foreign card with differ currency, I was wondering if it would take longer but I would like to know how many days? Apparently she didn’t understand what I was asking and she had no clue but she pretended another answer even tho I said that was not my question, she kept repeating with an annoying attitude. Better training indeed for her whereas I forgot her name but a bit shamed for such a wonderful stay.
