Having to wait in my truck for over an hour and having to call twice

They shouldnt call the place NAIT guest house. We thought we were staying at nait college private dorms and the owner of place who I called before arrival did not admit the truth about their place being a regular house with private rooms. That was a surprise. 1 of the pillows didnt have sheet on it. They are not taking covid seriously and it’s clear that the owners of the place are very very cheap. I am honestly not sure if they are following right covid guidelines safety. If you are worried about your safety, I wouldnt go there as they are not doing a good job of cleaning. They had a camera inside the house that was recording. The bed sheets had a funky smell. He was still cleaning when we arrived late. The basement had a bad smell as well. The place was very cold and they put a lockbox on thermostat so I couldnt raise temperature. They only had a low quality heater in the bedroom that had tape on on button because the button would keep disconnecting and it didnt heat the room so i slept in the cold. They ask for $100 deposit per person upon arrival and they paid us our deposit back by etransfer which took 30 mins so we had to delay our trip back home to make sure we recieved our full deposit 1st. They also had signs all over the house telling you ‘the rules of what you can and cant do’ yet they are not respecting basic cleanliness rules and basic rules that all hotels and motels know of. Overall, the place is doing terrible really sumb mistakes that could be easily corrected.

The kitchen is very well equipped - it has everything you need. (Pots, pans, cutlery, kettle, toaster, fridge, dish soap etc.) There is also coin laundry in the basement- very helpful!

Hmmm🤔🤔, well, I wasn't aware that breakfast was included and, the location was okay, no issues. The price is also ideal for the budget-minded traveler.

This room does not have it's own bathroom as described in the ad under booking.com, (and you might want to think twice before sharing with strangers). Luckily for me, there were no issues with the other guests as they were quiet and respectful people. It would have been nice if there was a little table lamp put on top of the night stand beside the bed.

Nothing absolutely nothing. This place is disgustingly nasty and the operators lack basic business mannerisms.

The rooms were very dirty and sheets weren't changed. It took over 30 minutes for the attendant to make a room available for me. Worst still , no apologies were made and I wasn't treated with the least magnitude of respect that is usually reserved for clients. I had to ask for everything including toiletries. I couldn't take it for long and signed out barely two hours after signing in though I had made the full payment for the night. It's a place I will never return to even if it was the only one left in the city during a harsh winter.
