Beautiful view. Fireplaces not working. Many lights out, esp. dark kitchen, both decks. Not enough dish towels. Not enough paper towels. Cock roaches frequently seen. Bar be que pit filthy. Grill unable to be used,crusted. Filled with old coals. No lighter fluid or fresh coals. Overall not well minted.

My family and I came to visit our daughter and her husband for a week and this house was wonderful for us! There were 6 of us staying and we had more than enough room! The view of the ocean was so relaxing especially from the master bedroom and deck. We had a wonderful time cooking meals, playing games and just enjoying our time together in that beautiful house!

Our stay was pleasant and the property was very clean! Any issues or questions that came up were immediately addressed which contributed to a more enjoyable stay. Great area and location!!!

We were in town for a local basketball classic and this place was for the perfect place for our family to stay all in one place. It was the perfect alternative to a hotel. The place was very nice, had all the amenities needed, and the management was responsive to all questions. The master bedroom is really special. We were pleasantly surprised that the kitchen had a blender. I do recommend.

Everything was just as expected during our long stay.

The pictures do not do the house justice. It is beautiful, great location and perfect for our group of 3 adults and 6 kids. The owner was very responsive and great to work with. We go to Virginia Beach a lot for field hockey and can’t wait to stay here again!

The property is great for our get together, but there are some warnings and comments. If you are looking for a pristine place, this is more casual. There is wear and tear, but that worked for us with so many children. There are 37 steps. If you have any issues going up and down, this is not the place for you. I would recommend the property manager provide more toilet paper and towels. No kitchen towels there, but the kitchen is perfectly stocked with just about everything else. The garbage cans are a bit of a pain in the kitchen, but not a major deal. Also, my adult children found a few Whippets(sp?) in the couch, that could have been hazardous to our little ones. Cleaning company needs to thoroughly check furniture when cleaning. The beds are super comfortable and the layout worked very well for us (our legs and calves are in great shape now)

TVs came with multiple streaming services. With the number of guests, it was nice that the kitchen had three bins for trash and recycling. And it has a two-car garage. The not so good: We couldn’t open/close windows because the window hand cranks had all been removed. House is located on a main road and there is a lot of road noise – inability to completely close some of the front windows contributed to the noise problem. Master bedroom and living room windows/doors leaked during a heavy rainstorm –we put down towels and saw there was water damage to living room walls from previous rains. The main floor’s closet doors were off. Only seven (not eight) chairs at the dining table. Bunk beds are child size. Property needs a refresh. Not a very good first impression with the outside stairway no-slip treads in pieces and the gate at top of 2nd floor deck broken off its hinges. Living room furniture is old – couch cushions had tape on them (presumably covering holes). The Master bathroom tub overflow cover fell off. The coffee carafe was not the correct one for the coffee maker so coffee wouldn’t drain into it. The refrigerator froze some items. Living room fireplace didn’t work. Two palm trees in master bedroom were dead. The cleaning crew needs to: clean the oven - when we first used it, something on the bottom of the oven caught fire (the fire went out by itself), do a good floor washing, replace all burnt out light bulbs (in and outside the house).

Sofas in the living room probably need an upgrade/cover at least, other than that everything is great! Will definitely stay here in future, if possible.

While visiting family local to VA Beach, the accommodations allowed other family, from various locations across the eastern seaboard, to gather and enjoy a wonderful stay. The house was spacious and allowed us to enjoy individual and family time, as well as host all of our family for a Sunday brunch. Access to the beach, shops, and restaurants was amazing. The host was responsive and friendly, and the house was clean, uncluttered, yet it felt incredibly homey. Thank you for a terrific experience!

The space we had was perfect for us. The access to the beach was great! We went on walks on the beach in the morning and afternoons. Saw dolphins from the deck. Having one covered deck and one open deck was useful. We used the covered deck for when it was too hot and sunny and the open deck on the top floor to see the sunset and a better view. Brad was very responsive and gave us all the information we needed. He also mailed me back my air pods that I had left at the property by mistake! Overall we had a great stay!

Also the refrigerator froze the fresh vegetables in one of the drawers. The market on Saturday is fantastic with lots of great finds! Also the beach was perfect for our first time beach goers! The kids just loved it. We had to put the baby into the master closet because we couldn’t darken a room for him so he woke up at 6. The closest worked out perfectly. The kitchen needed a cooks touch for a few more essentials and more forks. Thanks we did have a wonderful family time.

We had an overall great time! Only down fall was the refrigerator was not working and thankfully we had a big cooler with us but having to refill it with ice while of vacation was a big hassle. The owner was notified right away and didn’t offer any options or refund which was kinda disappointing giving some of our groceries went bad and we have to purchase food daily because we had no place to store it but our cooler. The beach is everything though!
