Nice little home, right downtown. Lovely stay. thank you

The house was ideal for 2 couples. It was well equipped and a great location to restaurants and pubs. We had a wonderful vacation in St. John’s.

Wonderful property close to everything (George Street) a group of high school friends now in the it forty’s needed lol.

Cute old house on a steep hill. Kind of knew the area so understood some of challenges of a house adjacent row houses on a step hill. Pros: can’t beat the location. Short walk to George and Water street. Easy walking distance to the Rooms and the Basilica. Fairly well maintained. Amazing view. CONS: if more than one vehicle parking is tight. Walking back up the hill can be a challenge if you are not fit. Some of the nearby streets are sketchy but had no problem and never felt unsafe. I Would stay there again. But no drip coffee maker?!!??

Very nice place. The owner responds within 10 minutes of any text. The proximity to everything is just perfect. Would definitely stay again

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The home is beautifully decorated, clean, has comfortable beds, a well equipped kitchen and is within close walking distance to many downtown attractions. You have a view of the harbour and Signal Hill and The Rooms, George Street, shops and restaurants are close by. We loved starting our day by choosing an album to play on the turntable…brought back many memories! And there was a lovely note and bottle of wine waiting for us when we arrived. Can’t wait to return!!

This was a beautiful little place to stay! Lots of comforts and such a convenient location to downtown St. John’s and George Street! Only thing missing was a dishwasher. Beds are super comfy! There were condiments, salt, pepper, oil, and steak spice in the kitchen when we arrived. They also provided coffee pods and sugar. We enjoyed & would stay again!

Property was very nice and very clean. There were 6 of us in 3 bedrooms. Only 1 bathroom which was an issue at times with 6 people. Great location within walking distance of downtown although you’ll need to be able to walk up steep steps or uphill if walking to the home. Neighborhood initially seemed a little run down in places but we had no issues. Great to have dedicated parking for 2 cars. Seemed like the street was permit parking but there is also general on-street parking nearby on Central St / Livingstone St. We didn’t realize there was no AC and it got hot upstairs (August) but opening the windows helped a lot. Kitchen seemed well stocked although we didn’t find a corkscrew or bottle opener (minor issue really). There was an excellent grill on the patio but no outdoor seating. Overall highly recommended.
