We enjoyed the bar in the evening and all the Texas Tech parents there for drop off this weekend.

Two main concerns. First, the front desk clerk made me extremely uncomfortable. He checked me into the room and offered me some “diabetes cookies”, referring to the signature Doubletree welcome cookies. He then proceeded to discus his and his family’s medical history and then inquired if I had diabetes This was inappropriate and made me feel uncomfortable and judged. Second, the bathroom in our room has an obvious plumbing issue. The smell of raw sewage coming from either the bathtub or toilet was overpowering. I was informed the hotel was completely full, so unfortunately there was no solution. Overall I’ve always had a high opinion of the Doubletree brand but this experience was far below the standard I have come to expect.

D was so kind upon check-in and very helpful letting us know about the amenities. When we were eating dinner he sought us out and brought our boys fresh baked cookies. We’ve stayed at this property many times before, but D went above and beyond!!

We loved the location, the comfort all around, and would definitely stay here again. The value was incredible. The downside was breakfast - the cost wasn't worth the time and there was an in-room charge for the coffee maker. Luckily the Pancake House was across the street!

Me and my bf stayed here over the 4 day weekend, and I’m glad to say that we didn’t really have any issues. One thing that was noticed was that the metal that holds the soap dispenser in our shower was broken. My only complaint would be that I paid for two days of Internet service, but the hotel’s power went out which set the fire alarm off and woke us up. When I called down to the front desk, they stated that the power was out and didn’t know when it would be back up. Getting one days worth of internet compared to the two that I paid for isn’t a big deal. Overall, it was a nice stay, it was quiet, didn’t have any issues with parking, and the bed was really comfy. Would stay here again

The cold water in the bathroom sink was trickling and no force at all. Ofc after hours the parking was full and had to find difficult parking must've been busy weekend don't know.... Saturday morning only 1 of the elevators stopped working ofc it was harder for the elderly since they can't do the stairs..

The employees were awesome and the hotel was in great shape and clean. The location was in a bad part of town with a lot of homeless and not the kind that are down on their luck. These people were high as a sky and aggressive. They were roaming the parking lot as well as the area.

This Doubletree was quiet considering its location by downtown. The location was very convenient and lots of food options within a 5 minute drive if you aren’t looking to eat in the hotel restaurant. Overall a great stay and our experience was quite good! We will definitely stay here again if we were to come back!

I specifically chose this hotel because it was a holiday and they offer a restaurant and bar. Both of which were closed because of the holiday!

We had prepaid $300 for a hotel room, sent a note that we were arriving late yet when we arrived, the hotel had given our room out. Never again staying at a Doubletree. Worst service ever. Receptionist offered us to pay an additional $199 for either a dirty but unoccupied room or a room with maintenance issues. We declined and went to a holiday inn.

First night stay the room's A/C was out. They promptly moved me to another room the next morning. The Restaurant and Bar had excellent food and drinks. The city of Lubbock is a little rough. But very nice hotel.
