Great location and had exceptional weather which is uncertain at best in St Johns. Walked around . Beautiful scenery and sights. Full of history and great places to eat. Attended a dinner show with Spirit of Newfoundland which was an awesome tribute to Roy Orbison music . Definitely worth an evening out. A great stay.

Such a pretty place. Food in the restaurant was excellent. Many of the restaurant staff have been there more than 30 years and they do a great job.

I had a lovely stay. Dolores on the front desk made my check in process quick and easy. All of the housekeepers who cleaned my room and the man who delivered my room service on Friday night were superb! 10/10 I will be back!!!

No ice machine working on any floor

Check in was a nightmare, first they down graded my room without telling me but was changing me for the higher priced room. (King bed room). She stated they had none left, yet there was even some still showing. Then after 15-20mins she finally says ok we can do a king room. Then we proceeded to the second room, the key cards didn’t work! Twice. Then to top it off we had to go back down because she inputted my information wrong and I couldn’t connect to wifi. She was rude, never explained anything about the menu or QR code. Parking was limited, and lacked security. Best part of the stay was clean room, and the maintenance man was so polite. I ran into the maintenance man twice on our stay both times it was a pleasure. We have never been so disappointed in a Marriott stay before in our lives to date, till this one. Hospitality, and kindness goes a long way!

Staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Had housekeeping try and get in at 9am, maybe before while we were still sleeping. Woken to a bang of the door on the latch across, glad we had put it across last night. Checkout wasn’t until 12, and someone trying to barge in at 9am without being notified that we had checked out.

The room was good except we got a small of dirty carpet. You could smell it every time you walked in the room. Other than that, the room was excellent.

This hotel is good. It has aged a bit and mattresses and pillows (at least ours) will need to be replaced soon.

Great staff, they were all so polite, friendly and accomadating. The hotel was clean and spotless. We were very impressed with the overall appearance of rhe hotel ans the service provided by all the staff members. As a veteran I appreciated the assistance provided to me, my spouse and my service dog. Overall I was very impressed, I would definitely stay again and recommend the hotel to all my family and friends.

First time I had to pay for parking at a hotel air conditioner was very noisy n didn’t cut n n out with temperature of the room first when I arrived the furniture was very dusty but the next two days it was clean regularly

It was a very comfortable and convenient location to downtown and various sites. The staff was professional, personal and efficient. We truly enjoyed our stay. Will return in the future.

Nice hotel to stay

Great location to downtown shops, restaurants, port, clise to quidi vidi, trails to Signal hill, indoor pool and hottub, great restaurant and room service, very comfortable beds, easy self parking, well kept grounds and clean/friendly.

Beautiful Hotel and had a lovely stay. My only complaint is being one of the more expensive hotels in St. John's I was a little disheartened when I was told I had to pay an additional parking fee on top of my already pricey reservation fee. This is something I feel should be included in the reservation fee as it is with most other hotels in the city.
