The suite was a lovely room. Very quiet. Unfortunately the prices in the hotel bar and restaurants (and the spa) were too expensive so we didn't use them as much as we may have done if they were cheaper. Also there was no sports channel which we may have watched bearing in mind the Euros 2024 had started whilst we were away.

Luxurious hotel with lots of marble/granite finish, in a premium spot not too far from the Bund River.
Great breakfast buffet with a mix of Asian and western foods in a high glass ceiling setup with tall palm trees that doubles as a bar at night.
The Italian restaurant is also very good.
Highly recommend.

In general was very pleasant the stay at the Bund area very close and convenient location… good service and also the restaurants inside the hotel ..good idea and variety..
Breakfast was amazing buffet not expensive..
the only issues we had was with a miss understanding about a laundry service…. We ended up paying like $200 US dollars for underwear cleaning…. After do much talking they didn’t satisfy us in tge issue at all …
Besides that the rest was good ..

Great hotel at a very practical location. Unfortunately in the non-smoking room there was some smoke stench. Hard to say if from cigarettes or from something else.

Overall our stay was fine. Hotel was pleasant and nicely decorated. The staff were all very nice and accommodating. We ate at both restaurants. The buffet was great. The other restaurant on the fifth floor was excellent. The only bad thing is when I ordered Coke and asked if Pepsi was ok, my whole attitude of the hotel changed. Pepsi is never ok! I'm dismayed that Marriott Bonvoy continues to be associated with Pepsi Co. Pepsi is white trash! The only other thing is we had a small flood in our room and not our fault at all. We were assigned to a new room but we're not offered any help with our luggage. I've been staying at Westin properties for years and have always had great experiences. So, I was a little let down.

Hotel has a great location.
It is showing its age - eg room woodwork shows desperate needs of needed maintenance.
Food at restaurants is subpar to other Westins. The breakfast restaurant has a lot of people with attitude. The Chinese restaurant upstairs can be avoided. The Italian restaurant is very good, albeit limited menu.
All rest of the staff was nice.

Very smooth check-in, Senior Guest Services Manager Bruce Li 李贺 was very friendly and helpful, offered toiletries (toothbrush, toothpaste, hair brush etc) and answered all my questions, and assigned a high floor with good view of Shanghai skyline. Westin's Sunday Brunch is very famous and location of hotel is very close and walkable to the Bund. My favorite hotel to stay in Shanghai.

The only problem I had was that I had ordered an exercise bike for my room which was the only reason I chose this hotel. When I arrived they told me that room was not ready. The gym had no good exercise bikes.

I love the convenience of this hotel. Very close to the Skyscraper Center. The brunch is amazing, you can find a variety of western food and Asian food as well. The rooms are spacious and super clean! I

The Heater is too hot and the controller in the 2 rooms I rented on 16th floor both don't work.

Our room was clean and the condition of room was great. Service was prompt when we made request. We had room service during our stay and the food was good.
The location of the hotel was convenient for us as we could walk to Yu Garden as well as Nanjing Road and The Bund. There are many eateries around the area as well.
