Spent the night here while attending an event nearby. Cosy and comfortable single room. I had a good night's sleep.

Very welcoming. Very clean and because quiet time got an upgrade on room. Totally different from somewhere else I stayed a few weeks ago. Thankyou very much

Clean and friendly hotel. Modern clean bathroom and comfortable bed. Room only, so cant comment on food. Easy 10 minute walk to Headingley centre

Staff are lovely. Room nice and tidy. Bathroom could do with a deep clean (black mould around edges of shower and on pipes around the wall).

Absolutely lovely place. Room very tidy , spacious & clean. Bathroom too. The only let down was the smell in the hallway. Other that that couldn’t fault it. I would deffo stay again.

After a long drive i was met with a very friendly welcome. The room was a fine size for me and also the Indian restaurant next door is a great bonus.

An old hotel but quaint. Good old fashioned Northern service and style. The Manager is always friendly and helpful . Location is perfect for us when we are up that way visiting our son at Leeds Uni or whether we are there on business. Having the Restaurant next door as an added bonus when you have been driving for hours as well.

Friendly peeopple and good accomodation.

Though the building seems to be an old one but the environment was clean and comfortable. The staff were very nice and friendly. I also love the Indian restaurant downstairs for supper but not to good for breakfast. Overall, the hotel is not bad to stay.

So it's no premier inn etc, but for this price bracket you could do worse (and I have!). Everything else on this night was twice the price. Surprisingly comfortable, clean, perfectly fine. Happy to stay again - and I'm a bit fussy. Didn't feel like a was having to compromise on anything particularly. Would recommend and will book again. Wish I'd checked in earlier and had a curry there.

Don’t expect to much for a quick overnight, does the job if you want to get a quick shut eye & out.

Excellent Location for Headingly Stadium and a superb Indian Restaurant on the Premises.

Stop here alot when me and my friends are over to watch Yorkshire at Headingley. Always comfortable and good value for money. Plenty of pubs/places to eat nearby.

Not very clean and the breakfast was horrible, do not waste money to pay for the continental breakfast , you are better off to save money and get from outside

Nice clean budget hotel, reasonable price does the job

A pleasant welcome, room was clean and what I expected. Plenty of parking. Away from city center, several eating outlets short walk from hotel. Petrol station opposite. Ianian restaurant on site.

Cheap and cheerful. Lighting not great but otherwise did everything I needed

So this is the second time, I’ve stayed at this property. The previous time being before the lockdown for COVID. My opinion is that the property is better now than it was then and it was adequate then but now it is very good. There seem to have been improvements in decor and in cleanliness and the staff were very helpful. The security gentleman who checked us in on arrival was very pleasant and the, presumably, hotel owner who was present at breakfast in the mornings was very pleasant also. He also had a young lady working with him, who was also very pleasant and helpful. On both occasions, I stayed at this hotel I stayed because I was attending functions at the Castle Grove function suite and it’s very convenient being approximately an eight minute walk. I would definitely stay at this property again, and I recommend it to others.

The hotel itself was excellent. Although there was a bus stop just in front of the hotel, bit far from a train station.

Tv not working Very cold Heater gets auto turned off in the middle of night Hair dryer not fully functional Bed is horrendous not comfortable at all There was a massive dip in the bed Bed sheets not comfortable
