Room in poor condition, no water was provided and when asked they stated it’s only for Bonvoy members! Front desk never answered when called them, one elevator was nonfunctional and the other very slow. Would not recommend staying at this hotel

The room was clean. The service was amazing! Walkable to everything! I highly recommend this hotel.

Enjoyed the short stay however did have a few complaints:
- When booking we asked if there was a pool. The pool was out of service.
- The Water in the shower was not hot and barely luke warm.
- 35/day for parking is outrageous.

Nice clean hotel- easy walk to the pier/ downtown restaurants

The morning staff was horrendous. We travel a lot as a family and couple! This was by far the worse experience we have ever experienced. No room service unless we asked. I ran out of soap body wash and had to ask for replenishment. The morning staff needs to be replaced as soon as you get an opportunity. Also my wife asked about where to get coffee and they said no more coffee after 930. How useful of your staff to be of help to visitors.
The evening staff Tamara and angel went above and beyond. They need to replace your morning staff. Wonderful experience with them.
We will not be returning to this hotel or recommending.

Booked a King Room and paid for a larger bed and got out into a smaller double Gervais they were out of King... how do you sell something to a customer you can't guarantee. The so called diving is a very limited menu and closed early. Parking is not even on the property. If you self park you are going to park and walk 2 blocks down the road. Will not return to this properly.

The parking is the most idiotic situation I've ever seen at a hotel. Either you park yourself at a self park parking lot for $45/day, because it expires at midnight, or at the valet for $35/night.
Other than that it's a fantastic property.

Excellent location for enjoying downtown St Petersburg. Across street from major Arts & Crafts Museum.
Free parking may well be available on the street within a couple of blocks, or even right next to hotel, especially on weekends when restrictions are looser. Otherwise, $35 valet parking is just too much.
Avoid Room 308. Windows are very dirty, and ventilation noise in Room 308 is constant, very loud, and cannot be controlled. This was confirmed by hotel staff, who cheerfully provided me another room that was just fine for A/C noise (and had clean windows).
All staff were friendly and helpful.

This property is ancient. Despite being well cared for, it's obvious it's an antique. The best I can say is it was clean; I didn't cringe when I stepped on the carpet with bare feet. However... the staff was less than helpful. The desk clerks were unaware of transportation in the area and I had to call three times before they found my reservation. Plus, it's EXPENSIVE. I know it's like buying candy at the concession at the movie theater but $8 for a bottle of water is assine, especially since there is no restaurant in or near the hotel. Parking is $35 a day. There is 2-hour street parking if you want to try to juggle that. The biggest complaint is the noise. You could hear every footstep on the sidewalk in our 3rd floor room. The only time you couldn't was when the ac came on, and that pretty much obliterated all other noises. The pillows felt like old down, feathery but hard. The towels were big but not very fluffy. We stayed two night and never got maid service. We attended a ballgame, the reason for our stay, and noticed that some of the other hotels offered transportation to the stadium. We'll be staying there next time. My "special rate" wound up costing me about $650 (only one $42 meal, salad and sandwich, and $22 for two orange juices and a cup of coffee, for two nights. Not much of a bargain.

Property charge $35 a night for parking ! Very expensive considering the area was not in a great location lots lots of homeless people mailing about in all of St. Petersburg every time we left Any store Or Anie any restaurant we were approached for money.
The hotel room we stayed in was right above where the valleys park so there was a lot of loud, talking cussing yelling pretty much till about two in the morning from passerby, and from people valuing their cars, including the values themselves. Hotel was nice enough, relatively clean definitely an older hotel, when I booked this hotel, I thought it was going to be closer to the museums and downtown restaurants and instead it was much further out from the downtown area and surrounded by abandoned, storefronts and parks filled with homeless people milling about. We really didn’t like that we had to pay $35 every night for parking , and that there was no continental breakfast included. One nice feature was that they did have a bowl of oranges and some freshwater next to the service desk. One thing that we were surprised by was that they did not offer free coffee. Almost every hotel we’ve ever stayed at offers free coffee in the morning down by there Main desk. This hotel wanted 3 to 4 dollars per cup of coffee. The hotel itself had staff that were accommodating once we asked for a new room however we had to ask it wasn’t automatically offered even though we had complained not sure if we will ever stay at the hotel again

Our stay was only for one night though the Marriott is an older Hotel it still has some of the old time charm the room was as nice as many places I've stayed extremely clean decent size updated bathroom and well decorated. Both the front desk and valet parking employees were very friendly and willing to assist with any questions. I would definitely choose to stay here again when I'm in town it is within walking distance to the pier the movie theater, shopping and St Pete's amazing museums.

I like location, it was walkable to many places. Did not like the unprofessional executive chef. She was rude.h

It’s was fine, good location. My biggest issue was we had to get a new key
card every night, which was frustrating. Especially when you go up to your room and the key doesn’t work and have to come back down to front desk to get a new one. I was told on the last night it was probably because it was close to my cell phone and was deactivated, which I have never had a problem before at other hotels and would have been nice of them to mention at check in.

A great location to access downtown St Pete but building is showing it’s age. There were renovations when we were there, so hopefully by 2025 it will be a much improved spot.

Very clean historic, but updated, property. Friendly staff and nice area that is quiet but still close to dining and entertainment options. However, parking is valet only.

When we arrived, there was no entrance road, though this is probably to be expected for a hotel in a city. Instead, we pulled up to the side of the street in front of the main door. We saw some No Parking signs, so my wife waited in the car while I checked in.
I asked about parking and the guy was like, wherever you can find it. I already took a quick look and the area around the hotel is marked with "2 hour only" signs, so that wasn't helpful.
He said they have valet parking for $35 for 24 hours and you can come and go as often as you like. Since we were only there for one night and since we didn't feel like searching for a space, we took the valet parking.
I suppose this is what happens in a city hotel also, but I would have expected the hotel staff to recommend a nearby parking garage or lot.
But overall, this hotel was a reasonable price and it was conveniently located to our activities.
