Morning breakfast is very nice and customer service is very friendly nice hotel

Rooms could use some updating but the location is convenient.

It was okay. While we know we got there before check-in and had planned to have them hold our bags while we went back out, they told us our room was ready, and if we wanted to check in we could - for $25. The other issue, being a coffee drinker, was there was only 1 regular coffee pack. The other was decaf. The positives were the large windows with a view of the street and the free breakfast. The staff were very helpful and courteous.

We loved our stay. In the heart of the River North district, this property is an easy walk to most downtown attractions with plenty of nearby dining and nightlift.

Super close to the Riverwalk, plenty of dining options as well as shopping. Close to many of the tourist spots like Cloud Gate and Millennium Park. We rode the bus while we were there to Oak Street Beach, which was a short ride. And we also used public transportation to the Navy Pier which dropped us right at the Navy Pier terminal. We had a view of the city on the 17th floor and absolutely loved it. It was quiet and even though our room was by the elevator there wasn't a lot of traffic or noise. The bed was super comfy and the room was clean for the most part. It was a tab bad outdated but it wasn't too bad that we didn't enjoy our room. The breakfast was not good at all. I only ate the yogurt and fruit from the breakfast buffet. The first morning I ate the eggs, the sausage (which had a weird taste) and some kind of patty that looked like a sausage patty but tasted far from it. It had corn and other things inside of it and it just wasn't good. The eggs were the only thing I ate and the yogurt. I ate yogurt the following morning with fruit. I was still grateful. Some people are going without food. Check in and check out was a breeze. The weird part is the elevator situation. You have to take one elevator from the ground up to the lobby and then take the lobby elevators up to your room. The wait times weren't too bad. Overall, the property is well kept and the staff is friendly and the location is perfect. I would recommend.

Everything about the property was perfect

Not the place to stay if you are looking for comfort and amenities. First, the elevators were super slow and they weren't all working which even took longer. We had open items on our sink, the shower slopes away from the drain so we had to actually push the water toward the drain so it didn't fill up too much. There wasn't any cold water. It was hot or it was warm. The towels are really poor quality. We went to the gym on the 27th floor with our empty water bottles only to find not only did they not have any water jug or anything in the gym to fill water bottles but there wasn't even a fountain or anything on the floor. We had to go into the bathrooms right outside the gym and fill them up with tap water, which as you know from earlier, was warm water. The quality of the gym mats is awful and the gym floor is disgusting. The only ice machine is down in the lobby so you really need to decide how important ice is considering how slow the elevators are. The music they have on is super loud right outside the front door. We, and others, were waiting on Ubers and couldn't even talk next to the front door because the music was so loud. The location is good. Close to restaurants and the river walk. There are other hotels in the area that I recommend checking out instead of this one. Marriott has definitely started living off their name and is no longer trying to take care of, or impress, their guests. Pay the same or a little more and stay at a better hotel.

Parking garage access available with daily fee. On your check in day, bring your parking ticket to the front desk and they will validate it. You will get in and out access thru the day you check out. The sensor will read your license plate and let you in and out. It's expensive but seems safer compared to other pay parking garages nearby. Breakfast included. Has onsite laundry and gym but we didnt use. Sometimes it got a little stuffy in the room, just adjust AC to your liking. Very walkable to nearby restaurants and shopping. Would not mind staying here again.

3 elevators. That's all. When you're trying to get to breakfast or checkout taking the stairs was the best option. Thank goodness we only had to walk down 4 flights. Staff was friendly. Bed was comfortable.

Everything was clean and everyone was nice and friendly. Parking out front was a little confusing but doable. We were within walking distance of everything we wanted to do and see Only issue was 1 of the 3 rooms didn’t have the best AC

Good location to river boardwalk and restaurants. The breakfast was not very good! The coach bed was horrible and there were three adults sharing a room. The couch bed leaned up against the bed and barley room to open or not able to walk around when the coach bed was opened!! Disappointed Not worth value I paid

Great hotel & location

Room was clean. Beautiful view of the city. Within walking distance of the Riverwalk and plenty of restaurants. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was good. The bed was comfy, but was definitely worn down. Much firmer in the middle and a noticeable dip where someone would lay on the left side. Also, on my last day there, several hours before checkout, housekeeping knocked on my door and almost entered. What if I would have been in the shower? Maybe have housekeeping wait to start entering rooms of those checking out until after checkout. Overall though, it was a good stay and I would stay there again.

Walking into the entrance you stand and wait as you assume you’ll be checking in, only to find that the front desk is actually on the next floor up. No signage anywhere telling you that. Those waiting in front of you were claiming luggage on hold. The stand is blocking access to the only two elevators to take you up. Once the doors open the line for check in is right there blocking access off of the elevators! Crazy set up! The elevators themselves are SO SLOW. It takes 10-15 minutes to get to your floor as you wait, navigate through and then wait for the doors to open. Crazy!! My suggestion: find another place to stay.
