Location, location, location, can walk everywhere central from here and restaurants in the area are fab! Spending time on the 52nd floor in Chicago was a cool experience and great lake views. The building facilities are superb and available, pool, party room, pool table, business facilities (there are more just did not get around to trying them all. The apartment is really well equipped and the attention to detail as such is much appreciated. (had all kitchen and bathroom facilities that you need and some you did not even realise are needed)

Elevator (1 of 2 available for my floor) was broken the whole 4 days.I let the owner know and he responded (appreciate that!) to say spare parts are tricky (Ukraine and Covid), but the extra time needed to get up and down the building was deeply frustrating and cost me 10 mins on each trip out each way so I recorded 45 mins per day (over 4 days). Furnishings a little dated and worn, brown furniture needs updating. Towels, threadbare and not soft. Sofa bed very uncomfortable and old. TV only had limited channels as pay per view was not available. The multitude of emails was over the top and tipped into annoying. The use of (shouty) capitals and notes in the apartment and repeated emails were not friendly. The check in and check out times are very restrictive. If you are paying a high daily rate you expect access for 24 hours not 4pm to 9am. No availability for a late check-out which forced me to pay for an extra night (ie 25% surcharge) due to evening flight home. Due to crazy check-out time and lift waiting and late check-in I lost 10 hours , which is 10% less than expected(if assume you have use for 24 hours which is implied in daily rate) over 4 days and it cost me an extra 25% as had to book extra night for late check out. So 35% of the total price I paid was down to lift waiting times, checkin/out and extra day that had to be paid for even though I did not stay, a bit much! Yes I like numbers but I was shocked. Sep 2022. I still have not received my booking deposit from the owners. To be transparent there was an issue m in that an old credit card was used to make the booking and this was the one used by the owners to repay the deposit. However I have contacted the bank and they have no record of receiving this credit (deposit refund). Bottom line I have not received the deposit back 24 days after leaving the property. I will update this review if & when resolved!

Great location in a great city. Fantastic apartment with amazing views and superb facilities.

Very clean and comfortable. The location was ideal (— adjacent to restaurants, shopping and the “L”). The views were outstanding. Grandson loved the pool. we found the price equal or better than nearby hotels, but offers a larger space with unequalled views!

Nothing major at all! Minor item — We would have liked to have had coffee available for us to brew in the coffee maker.

Spacious condo with amazing views of lake Michigan and downtown Chicago. Great location with short distance to sights. Lovely amenity level. Friendly host. Highly recommended.

Apartment was fab. Everything you needed, e.g. towels, dishwasher tabs, hand cleanser, washing powder, shampoo etc. Spotless and a fantastic location with an excellent supermarket next door. Great leisure facilities, gym, pool, basketball court and more. Great communication with the owners and the apartment was right next to a subway stop.

I had expected a two story penthouse (double high windows), based on the photos. It was single story, but did have a nice deck.

Such a convenient location, right next to the red line. Fantastic view and seemless check in and check out. Literally can't say anything bad about this place, will definitely be back!

Location was outstanding. Central to many restaurants and located a 10 minute walk to the Chicago River. Located on the 52nd floor the views of the city were great with a peekaboo of Lake Michigan. Facilities were outstanding, pool, gym and common room were great additional features.

The location was central to everything ,the apartment was large , spacious and comfortable with everything you could possibly need for a home from home .Washer and dryer fabulous with powders included , bathroom toiletries and towels . Kitchen fully equipped . Spectacular view of Chicago from the apartment day and night ! The apartment was spotless , we couldn't fault anything, it was like walking into someone's home with everything you could possibly want ! We loved it !

not being used to high rises , the ( repaired) cracks in the concrete balcony floor on the 51th scared us a bit. Sleeper in living room was not straight and not very comfortable. Owners sent a constant stream of screaming ( capitals, highlights) on the do’s and don’t which are not very customer friendly, to say the least. Maybe Americans are used to this, but for us, Europeans it took away a lot of the joy of staying in this otherwise great place.

I stayed at Penthouse #5 on the 52nd floor. The views were amazing! The pictures do not fully capture the experience of floor to ceiling windows! The view of the lake at sunrise is spectacular. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The location was perfect. The owners are a bit particular for some (based upon some comments I have read). My thought is that that have a beautiful space that they want to protect. None of the requests were unreasonable. I was very happy with the grocery store located in the building. There are so many restaurants nearby to chose from. The Redline subway is at your doorstep. Shopping at Michigan Ave is within walking distance.

The pictures on booking.com are from all of the units (the owner has 8 different ones). It is easy to perhaps not understand exactly the room you are booking based upon the photos. There was nothing about the room in particular that I did not like.

It was absolutely the perfect arrangement for us as we travelled from Florida to Chicago for my husband's knee replacement surgery. Having a small apartment with a kitchen and dining area was ideal with his limited mobility. The separate bedroom gave us the space to focus on his recovery and still feel normal. We thoroughly enjoyed the whiteout snow storm from our vantage point and then the next day it was beautiful and sunny again; cold, but sunny.

The location was perfect.

The place was advertised as 3 bedroom, but was only 2. The host used photos that made the property more appealing. The photos showed a much larger wider windows with a more scenic view. The host exaggerated the condition I left the property in to retain part of my deposit. The building door staff and parking attendant were rude, and the host is extremely condescending.

The view was AMAZING! Very comfortable. Parking made getting around super easy

Communication. I booked through Booking.com, and being an employee I know how important documentation is. I got texts from random numbers that were affiliated with the property. The owner's wife was not customer friendly, and when we had an issue with one of the televisions there was no resolution.

This is the BEST place you can stay in Chicago, whether with friends or family with small children. Location is awesome! The penthouses are amazing, and the people managing your experience are second to none!!!

The only thing we didn't like was having to leave!

The location was excellent, many restaurants within walking distance, grocery store was next door, very convenient.
