The U Chiang Mai is one excellent hotel. Breakfast was amazing, great service and friendly staff. The rooms are nice, comfortable and cold and you have to opt for the swim-up to your room option. I could not be any happier with my stay!

Century located in old city walking distance for almost everything markets restaurants post office all the stuff you wanted.

Had a great stay at U Chiang Mai. It’s a beautiful hotel, rooms are very nice, pool, gym and spa are great and we very much enjoyed the breakfast and restaurant food at the hotel. Location is very central with walking distance to several temples but taxi or tuk tuk is needed as all temples and sightseeing sights are not in the center. Would’ve liked to get some recommendations from staff as it isn’t always easy to know what are ‘must sees’ as a tourist but overall strongly recommend to stay here in Chiang Mai!

Loved everything about it! Staff were amazing and the property was top notch! Will be back again for sure. Left my phone in the cab after ride from the airport. Staff went above and beyond to help me get it back. That type of service has no price !

Very nice hotel with wonderful staff in a great location. Breakfast was very good and had vegan options for me. Only drawback was the pool; very steep stairs in and out and no amenities near the pool

Beautiful hotel with very friendly, hardworking staff. Very comfortable spacious rooms. (No elevator but very suitable if you can navigate stairs). Walking distance to shopping, night markets, restaurants, coffee, and massage. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful hotel in the perfect location. The staff was nice and helpful, organized our tours of the area and helped us book a taxi to the airport. The hotel is walk-in distance to a lot of temples so that was a bonus. Great hotel with plenty of restaurants nearby. We would definitely stay here again.

It was an excellent policy to have 24 hours stay and breakfast anytime. Outstanding 👍
Will be better to offer pickup at airport service, taxi at airport to hotel is only THB150, but hotel charges THB600. The only problem is there’s no lift and stairways are dim at night.

Decent option in Chaing Mai. Reception was super helpful with restaurant reservations. Breakfast was average. Great service, but food quality was just passable. Had a problem at checkout that caused a delay. Pool was freezing!! Probably would look elsewhere in Chaingai next time.

Great location in old town Chaing Mai. Open, airy lobby. Great breakfast was included daily. Staff were very helpful and friendly my. Room was nice and comfortable. Some rooms have access to the pool from their balconies. Sunday market right in front of hotel was a lot of fun. If I were to go back I would stay there again.

A beautiful serene space in the middle of Chiang Mia old town. All the staff were charming. Breakfast was lovely. Room was perfect. All in all a wonderful I’ll hotel experience.

A wonderful stay - the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the facilities were excellent. It was a perfect location for exploring Chiang mai and a short distance to temples, shops and restaurants. We’d thoroughly recommend for anyone wanting to visit this exciting city!

Very nice hotel in the middle of the old city. Hundreds of restaurants nearby. Hotel has really nice staff, always super friendly and helpful. The only thing (for us not that important) is that the rooms are not very soundproof-you hear everything happening in the next room (shower etc). We enjoyed our stay a lot and will certainly return.

U Chiang Mai is a quaint little hotel in the heart of the old city. We really enjoyed staying here. It was super quiet, comfortable, clean and had all the amenities that we needed. The night market runs right by the hotel which was super convenient. Highly recommend staying here if your in Chiang Mai, you won’t regret it.

Room was nice. Bathrooms had no counters by sink to put toiletries or hair dryer/curling iron. Bathrooms had gray/purple paint and very little lighting making it hard to get ready. No mirrors in the room to use, just the one in the dark bathroom. Rooftop bar is only for young people to sit on the floor on cushions--no tables and chairs. Staff very friendly and attentive--especially in the restaurant. Nice that they offered bikes and a bike tour free of charge. Construction/drilling going on out in the street in front of the hotel the whole time we were there, very loud.

The hotel staff aims to please. They were also very friendly. Always greeting my wife and was we walked by. The spa was also great. You should try a Thai massage there.

This is an excellent small hotel in the old town of Chiang Mai. The staff was amazing, friendly and helpful. Rooms were well appointed and comfortable. Value for money was exceptional. The only issue is that the street in front of the hotel is undergoing significant construction so access by car is currently a bit of a challenge. Breakfast buffet was included and had a lot of options. We would stay here again.
