Dirty mouldy bathroom.

This hotel has a lot of potential but you should know that it’s being renovated right now until January 2025. So no access to the pool. Although they have an arrangement to access the pool of another hotel, it’s a bit far and the pool is kind of indoor. The food and beverage are very expansive for Malaysia. The breakfast especially and it’s not worth the price. The rooms also need to be refreshed. Location is ok but up a little hill from the main area near the river.

Poor maintainence and dirty rooms had to call for help over five times for various issues and was moved between rooms due to shower failure and air-conditioning failure.

The hotel was in a good location and the room was good and good value. Unfortunately the room was a twin and I’d requested a double, it took 24hours to be changed. The dinning room was quite dirty and needs a full refurbishment. In general the hotel is soulless and lacks any comfort or ambience, vast areas of open space and the bar area that resembles an office.

The hotel service is good but very disappointed with Expedia service of notification.. Pullman started renovation on 1 Aug 2024 but we were notified only one day before our flight .. this is ridiculous… we felt cheated by Expedia..

This hotel offers clean room with great views. However, the towels are too old and not white. The breakfast we had at 6am were cold and waiting to be warmed up. Other than that, it is a good hotel to stay with great price.

We had two stays in April at the Pullman. A comfortable room, good cocktail hour and a great position near the river and city centre. The staff in the lounge (Michelle and Irene) were an absolute pleasure. We enjoyed speaking with them every evening.

Great value for money the rooms are very large and bathrooms also.
There is a little wear and tear showing around door frames but generally in good condition. All rooms have a view either Merdeka plaza way or towards cat statue.
Staff very friendly and accommodating.

Room condition pretty worn out everywhere, smelly toilet, not even spare toilet rolls were in place, bottles of water were ordered from front desk but never shown up, noisy A/C fan, etc. 😔😔

The good thing first - the bed was comfortable and the air con worked
Then the bad - No hot water for showering, bathroom sink was blocked at arrival and had to call maintenance, bar fridge had to be deiced and then barely cooled, only 4 lifts for the size of hotel should be at least 6-8 so long waits, car park is really annoying coz they charge you RM5 per day, which is ok if you didn't have to go outside the building to pay the 5RM in an unsafe area - why do they bother charge RM5 instead on making it free parking is beyond me.
All in all a hotel very much build on a budget and maintenance is poor.

The hotel rooms were not clean with lots of thick dust. Lots of things are missing like small towel, lotion. The kettle and ac control is broken upon checking in. The room wasnt cleaned properly for the subsequent days. Glass was not washed, floor wasnt mopped, towel wasnt given. The conceige service was great. Parking fee was also not explained clearly which created lots of confusion

Good stay at a good location. Only complaint is the smoking stench in the main lobby. They should be more stricter with smokers snoking in a designated area further away so tge ventilation doesnt blow into the lobby.

The hotel is located close to the Kuching Hilton, and is a short walk uphill from the Waterfront. The property presents itself as an up-market establishment and makes a great impression upon arrival.
However once inside, one is slightly underwhelmed. Parking is shared with the shopping center downstairs and is not complementary. The air conditioning in the room did not cool fully despite adjusting the controls. The TV stations offered did not match what was printed in the list in the room. Sometimes it was difficult to get towels at the swimming pool. Also housekeeping sometimes missed replenishing the in-room amenities. Most disappointing was neither the front desk nor housekeeping answered when telephoned from the room.
Overall, it just missed on making itself the premier destination in town.
